Hey Vicky & my friends,

such a virus went around Germany, too !
It's like a flu & you'll mainly get it by strolling though tube sites.
It kidnaps your desktop resources & displays a notice from federal German police:
"You have been on an illegal site and you have to pay... else you will be sued with inprisonment for about 1/2-2years... "
It's not easy to get rid of it, cause if you have no expert experiences & only one PCs, you'll have no chance.
I'm happily owner of G-Data protection software which warned me & closed the site before I got infected.

OMG so much better not to even go to those tube sites... they are nothing but trouble. You can't trust them. Never ever download anything if you don't know and trust the source!

You might have to be a little computer savvy, but there are resources out there to help get rid of viruses, trojans, etc. Do a search using info from whatever you see on your screen. Do your research and choose one with good reports from reputable sites. Even if you have to pay $30 for their software removal tool, that still beats $700 by about, hmmmm..., let's see, times 3, add 2, plus 4, carry the 9, minus 5.. about $670.

I know Malwarebites from something like Anti-Malware is a good one.

You get a free download and run a scan. If you like what you see, you purchase the full package (currently $24.95.) For another $6, you can redownload it if you need to for 2 years. I usually just download and save it in my Downloads folder, so I have it if I need it. After a while, tho, that will go out of date, as new malware pops up every day. So maybe the $6 is not a bad investment. You'll get the current version.

That's just another good reason to stay with the VNA and avoid the tube sites. You never know who is posting that kind of thing and what it'll do to your computer.

Hey Julie,

tube sites are "normal" sites with all kind of content, where most of it is stolen, I guess.
Some of them are used as platform for porn sites so send appetizer all around, similar to "freeones", but freeone's is welcomed by the artists & tube site's not.
They live of people like Che_Alchemist, a treator & thief who stole content from Vicky & uploaded it to European tube sites.
Some sites give bonus points or cash for that.
The result is that the hundreds of tube sites have so much traffic & content that it is barely impossible to control or sue them.
Many artists are not aware that their content was stolen, cause they have not the time & capacity to check them all out.
& they are terribly infected with all kind of trojans & viruses cause the uploads are not really checked.
That's why you have to be very careful if you've landed "accidentally" on a tube site.
