I always get a chuckle when someone is outed and fired for being in porn by others enjoying porn. Can you say hypocritical?

I have to support the church/school on this one. They should be allowed to hire and fire someone that they feel does not agree with their religious beliefs. On the other hand, I agree with Julia that she can still present good Christian values and be a valuable teacher while being a swinger and doing porn. What is the difference in moral character by her that produces it or the priests, teachers, administrators, and parents that consume it? I don't see a distinction. Apparently she was professional about it and kept the two situations separate until outted. She never let her lifestyle or porn career interfere with the kids either so I don't see a problem here.

I think it is high time that the church stops using sex to control people. Nudity and sex are natural; not shameful. I love women like Julia that push the boundaries of society and make people ask the difficult questions. I hope that she is able to enter a constructive dialog with the church/school about the situation, but I doubt that they will take her back. Hopefully she can find another teaching position at a different school. I would have no problem with Julia teaching my kids. I know a few excellent teachers that are swingers too and they are wonderful teachers and people.

I think it is crazy....they are 16 and 17 years old and old enough to know what they`re doing....I know they are minors until they are 18 in the US...but still.....a fine and loosing her job or transfer to another school should be enough...it was not like she was holding a gun to their head and forcing them......

To answer your question in the state of Texas there is a moral clause in teacher contracts. So I can be fired for just being on this web site. I can also be fired for being gay because technically it is against the law, but I can get married. Sexual orientation is not protected in the state of Texas. Now most public school district will not push the gay issue but it sure would the porn issue. Right now I need to be extra carefull because I have pissed some people off.

I don't think she should have been placed on leave and then forced to quite that is sad. Plus who was watching to know she did porn? Hey we are not paid enough and need the extra income and what she did was not against the law.
