Sorry about this morning (Problems logging in)

At around 6:30 this morning, someone tried to hack our ccbill password file. The securiity system freaked out and just shut everyone out. Sorry to anyone who couldn't log in for a few hours, I found out around 9 and had it all fixed by 10....

Ah, that explains something. I was trying and retyping, thinking: "Do I have caps lock on? Why is my password incorrect?". And then after trying a couple of times I got the message ...

Yeah sorry, if it's not one thing it's another.... once you have a popular site the hacking attempts go waaaaaay up! We spend a lot of time on security issues.... really sucks... I'd rather spend that time making porn.....

Sorry for my language, but it never fucking ends... it looks like i'm going to have to remove every interactive program I have on the server like the "live advisor", you know it's the little chat program that's on several pages in the tours, it's designed so that people who can't log in, can notify me immediately, or if someone just has a question about one of the sites... it's quite helpful, but because it's interactive, it's suspect to hacking..... you try to help people..... and you get shit on.... sorry but i'm pissy now... we had to down the main server and the mail server for an hour to repair things.....

Yes we added a captcha code to the live advisor. That solved the problem of spammers sending junk to the server using the email form.
