I just want to let you all know there is someone who scammed people buy saying it's ME (stole my identity)
They claimed I set up and
financially supported an orphan care center in pretoria south africa that
was run by my mother and funded by my divorce settlememt. (btw i only married once and that's with Marq) It was called House of Sarah and they even had a website for it

They were using my pics from Twitter.. and really monitoring things that I do. I'm still shocked about this.. and can't believe this happened.

If in any way I would raise money I would not go on a dating site. I never put myself on a dating site anyway.

If I ever raise money for a good thing, then you can find it here on the forum or my official website. You all will be the first to know this!

I'm very disappointed in people try to scam other people and even use people identity.
I don't know what will happen now, but they are still investigating this Scam.

:yuck:

I'm sorry that happened Bobbi. There are so many cruel people who break plenty of laws without realizing the consequences of their actions which result in harming someone else's life.

Hopefully, this issue will be resolved and not reoccur in the future.

It's great to see you law down the law only like Bobbi Eden can do :bigsmiley: That's just one of the things I admire about you and witness in your chats...our personalities are definitely similar in nature...

Have a great weekend  Kisha

Sorry to hear this, Bobbi. When people find out they've been ripped off, as you know, they're gonna think it was you who did this, unless they are members who come here to read the truth.

Scammers don't even think of you or who you are as a person. They see someone well known and simply think, "This one's well known. Let's use her. People will send her money."

Then, when they get caught, they just shut it down and move on. If they're in Nigeria or some such place, not much we out here can do. But I hope that at the very least it gets shut down.

Yes, it does suck!! ... Good thing they didn't get anything like your banking and financial information and other key information. Is your visa to come to the United States safe and secure? There are key numbers on it that can be used and that may give you trouble with the State Department if they ever become compromised.

Now bringing this back on topic, I didn't find any website on bing and google, so that is good. So like WSJ says maybe this website was shut down already. The only thing in the news recently is that President Obama fundraisiing event at the house of Sara Jessica Parker in New York. That's takes up about 3 pages on each search engine.

Anyway, you do have twitter. Why not put a message out there to the world saying it's not you? It's something to think about, to deter these scammers all the more.

Good luck Sweetie (with 10,000+ Freeones posts.) :heartbreak: *hugs* :heartbreak:

recently up this way their have been solicitation calls on behalf of fire & pds except they have no affiliation with them. Opps, according to news reports they sent out the incorrect scripts to their "solicitors". Unfortunately, when it's being done from off shore the recourse is very limited except for having them taken off a site by the ISP provider.
