What Are Your Passions?
Damn, it's been a long time since I've been hear.
Julia,
I'm not sad, I've had a good life. I've enjoyed most of it, hated some of it and cried through a lil of it. But it was my life, I survived and lived it ( or through it) but I lived it.
Ya I miss not being able to work but I'm living with that to. Does anyone hear know what the smell of deisel smoke in the morning is like when it's -30, I do. How about spending the winter in a camp trailer, sometimes at -30. I do.
you didn't make me sad or bring up bad memorys just good ones.
I have other tales to tell but I'd rather tell them over a table with a cup of coffee or a cold beer.
XOXO
Dave.

Hey Horny toad, I've got to ask, in the entire history of "modern music," has there EVER been a more beautiful-sounding male voice than Dean Martin's?--"Deno, imho for just his singing voice alone, will never be matched, but I will always consider Elvis to be the "BEST EVER," when one considers both singing ability and showmanship.
I probably have every album both of these "giants of entertainment," ever made, and will NEVER tire of listening to them--much like, I NEVER tire of seeing one of Julia Ann's films****just wish more of them would be SMOKING!!

While using this site's search query, it turns out this is the only thread whose title includes "passions"JuliaAnn wrote: I apologize in advance if this thread has been done before, but I was wondering what some of our members passions were.

For starters, I'd like to mention my passion for learning JapaneseJuliaAnn wrote: What are your passions?

I have actually woken up in a mobile home with it -60 and walked to work. I have woken up after my furnace went out in negative degree weather and the water in my toilet was frozen along with my contact solution. I miss those daysdave45 wrote:Damn, it's been a long time since I've been hear.

Right now my focus is on rebuilding my career after a 2.5 year hiatus so a lot my passions are on hold right now.
Animal rescue
soccer trying to get back in shape so I can play again
hanging with friends talking about history (yea we are nerds), but we also have a kinky side
travel (no money)
riding motorcycle (do not have one right now due to funds
I love cold weather sports, but living in the south so no more snow go riding. Snow skiing
Hiking in the mountains, but again no mountains where I live.
Photography as long as I'm behind the camera
I have so many favorite tv shows that range from Science Fiction, Crime dramas, sit coms, but I do not like reality TV
Julia Ann one thing we have in common is we both have had our noise broken by an animal.

Porn, obviously, but what else? Books, movies, theater, television, animals, Star Trek, Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, charities, monster truck rallies, NASCAR, gardening, clubbing, cooking, knitting (hi Walt!), hiking, camping, writing, music, sports, watching sports, conspiracy theories, politics, religion, spirituality, coins, stamps, guns, wine, beer, exercise, etc etc.
The list can go on and on and on...
A lot of you know that my passions include rescuing animals, cooking, horseback riding, and scuba diving. But I also love watching movies (old movies and new, but I do have a soft spot for some of the old ones). I love throwing dinner parties (where the cooking comes in) for friends, and I love getting my head and feet rubbed. Not sure if those are actually passions, but I sure love getting them!
Anyway, you get the idea.
So...
What are your passions?
JA
Hi Julia Ann! This thread caught my eye so I decided to share some of my passion.....
1.) Art: I use to draw freehand alot in high school and college( digital media was introduced to me) making my own cartoons, custom cars & designs hopefully I will get back into it someday
2.) Photography: This by far has always been one of my biggest and has been for a long time, I do not think there's a day that I do not take a picture of something its always fascinating part of me wanted to go professional with scenic shots like National Geographic or erotic like Suze/Holly Randall.
3.) My Pets: Like you they hold a special place in my heart, I have 2 cats (I love dogs too) Aries (my zodiac sign) when he was just 9 weeks old for my 21st birthday & Bobby that my mother adopted. He was the c-sectioned cat that I told you about in the last cooking show you did, his mother was hit by a car both her and her kittens survived which lead him to be bottle fed till he was able to eat on his own.

No one has posted in this for a while, but oh well, I'm still gonna do it anyway. xD
I'm pretty simple for a 21 year old.
1. Music is such an important thing to me. Music is there when no one else is, and the range of emotions you can feel when listening to music is incredible...when you want to feel happy, when you need to cry. Christina Aguilera is one of my favorite artists. She got me through a lot of stuff. Beautiful and The Voice Within are very good songs by her. They helped so much. I have Spotify and my one playlist alone has nearly 1300 songs. I love discovering new artists and songs.
2. I'm a nurses assistant...not certified, but still, I count. xD I work at a nursing home with old people...and it can be such a difficult job at times, but so rewarding. Getting to help them and see them smile is an amazing feeling...and a lot of us nurses are like family to them if they have no one else. I'm not sure if nursing is what I'm meant to do for my whole life but I know I'm meant to help others. :)
3. I LOVE learning languages. I took 4 years of Spanish and 2 years of French in high school...I actually took Spanish and French at the same time, so in Spanish I'd speak French accidentally and in French, I'd be speaking Spanish. XD I graduated in 2012 so unfortunately, I haven't spoken those languages since then. I have no one to speak them too. I wish I was fluent. I'm also teaching myself Italian. Foreign languages are so sexy. xD
I'm really not that interesting. XDD I could probably think of more but my hands hurt. Bahaha. ;)

I remember those Christina Aguilera tracks, they're amazing! She's someone who can touch people with both her incredible voice and emotional lyrics. Right now I'm totally digging Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" (check that one out if you haven't heard it yet) and Andy Grammer's "Honey, I'm Good".
Nursing assistants who take care of elderly people are hugely underpaid in my opinion. A friend of a friend once shared her daily routines and when she told me about her average income, I almost fell off my chair. I have the utmost respect for people who do this job, cause honestly, I could never do it myself. Like you say, it can be so difficult. BadKitty, the world needs more people like you! <3
I took German and French classes back in high school. I don't really know much about it anymore, apart from the basic grammar stuff and some nouns, but I do understand most part of it when people try talking to me in that language. If you ever decide to learn Dutch, feel free to hit me up, lol.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Gert:
Well, of course I think I should be paid more. XD But it's better than what I used to get. I used to clean at the nursing home before I went into nursing. It sucked.
And of course. BadKitty needs a picture of her kitty, right? ;) His name is Vinnie.
And what should I call you, hornytoad? Bahaha. And yay. French is a sexy language.
Voulez vous coucher avec moi, ce soir? *dances* ;D
