Big diff between Vicky and Jenna. Vicky does it because she enjoys it and why not make money while doing it? Jenna? She's doing it because she needs the money. No matter how good looking they are or how good they are at it, I really can't get past the "doing porn cuz I need the money" part, making them unattractive to me. Going into porn because you need the money generally doesn't end well for the performer imo

See...to me the real issue I have with Jenna isn't that she didn't enjoy porn when she was at the top of the game; she probably did join the industry genuinely for the sex and the enthusiasm. What bothers me more is that for what she got from porn, she really didn't bother to put anything back into it through defending or advocating for sexual media on its own right. It's as if as soon as she got paid enough, she simply thought she could shuck it all off and "go mainstream". And, like Vicky said, she really did burn plenty of bridges with her somewhat bitchy attitude and her turning the knife on what got her her fame and fortune.

I'm never going to diss the women or men who get paid and paid well to perform sex, since it sure beats some alternatives. But if you are going to say that you are a legend, it kinda helps to actually like sex more than a little bit, and to give respect to the profession and people who help you along the way. As the saying goes, the same people you meet on your way up, you will meet on the way down.

The hype of this thread was not to pick on any of the girls...
.. it was to let anyone who cared that someone was back that maybe they liked....

.. in Jenna's case, she uttered the words she would never spread her legs ever again, so people naturally think she is a hyporcryte now by coming back and getting on cam.

... I only pointed out sunny because Sunny is nominated for Best Cross Over Star at the end of the video of Jenna talking about not spreading her legs again for the industry. I was not saying anything about Sunny otherwise.

... But yeah, in general it is seen as a step DOWN if you come back to porn after having been out of it for a while. Don't know why Carl, but people look down on anyone in the sex profession - ie, isn't there something else you can do with your life?!? I don't agree with it. If someone wants to have sex for a living... maybe that is a better profession that working at Walmart. Who knows.

She had said she was retired to pursue her "Bollywood" career; she had even made a mainstream movie. I guess it didn't sell so well.

The article says that Priya is moving back to SoCal, and doing camshows via Streamate...so a return to active shooting might not be far behind, I think.

I just remember being in horrible situations and experiencing extreme depression and being alone and sad. I got a boyfriend in the industry which ended up dragging me into an even darker depression. I remember being in a dark room, drunk and high on cocaine. I wanted to kill myself. Suicide seemed to be the only thing that felt right for me. I was hurt over and over, so many times in this industry.”

I don't know the stats but I have to think close to 50 percent return at some point.
