Never thought of Richmond as a porn mecca.....from what I've seen of the site promoting this, they are mostly sponsored by a website development site called vix.com. Their Facebook and Twitter addies both go to vix.

The only named performer they list as scheduled to appear is Courtney Cummz. So, this must be either a new gig, or a complete scam. I hope for the former.

I briefly talked about it with Courtney Cummz last week and she mentioned it was going to be a small convention. I'll try to talk to her this week and see if it's worth a damn to attend. I really can't justify taking the time off work and travel expenses to see one actress.

Talking to Courtney Cummz yesterday, she expressed some skepticism about the event. She told me it's the first time they've ever held an adult convention in traditionally conservative Richmond, VA and the list of attending stars is kinda weak (she didn't know most of the actresses except for one or two). Courtney wasn't sure if it's going to be good and she recommended that I don't waste a trip up there as I might be disappointed (I live pretty far away for a VA drive). I don't think I can justify such a drive just to see Courtney Cummz for an 8 hour convention and potential after party. I'll probably pass and get the SITREP from her afterward to see if next year's is worth a damn.

Thanks for posting this Rokkerr. I have been trying hard to get more entertainers to get involved in this event as it is right in my backyard (about 1/2 hour drive for me).

What I can tell you so far is that I was personally invited by a former co-worker of mine whom has started her own duo act with Richelle Ryan. Their act is called Diamond Dolls, for those of you who may be interested. I have VIP tickets to the event. Yes, this is the first year of the event. The promoters have been very diligent in responding to any posts I have made on their Facebook or Twitter accounts, as well as taking care of a glitch in the ticket ordering site within hours of me telling them about it. I'm not sure what avenues they are taking to invite other performers to the event. I have no official status in the promotion itself, I'm just an interested fan who would like to see some of my favorite entertainers in person. Travel to Vegas or LA is unfortunately not an option for me at this time.

The event is the first of its kind on the East Coast (or so the ad says), so I expect it to be small to start. If the show is successful, hopefully it will return next year and grow into a major event.

A florida or NYC convention would be even better
