Charlee's been having to deal with another fucking douchebag too that was harassing her, I didn't post about it because a lot fans stepped up and reported it for her but seems she's got a new one or the same douche is back with another account, one reason didn't post about the earlier was I didn't know if she wanted it posted about the douche cause there was some really personal stuff flung at her that was too personal.

Well, I will try to provide a little antidote to that terrible story.

Over the last couple of days, I have managed to get some good pictures of the local inhabitants while I was out filling the bird feeders.


The possum wasn't here today. I read in the past somewhere online that possums normally wander around. At the time I read it, I was hoping that an adult that kept showing up at night was going to be a permanent resident, but he only hung around for a few days. This little guy seems a little small to be away from mommy. I hope he makes it.

There are many rabbits that live in the area. I have come home after a trip to the store and found three or four rabbits running around the driveway or the yard. Today I came out to see this guy enjoying a late summer's evening in the shadow of my car.

I have two or three catbirds that come to the feeder. One of them is bold enough to start eating while I am there (probably because my presence keeps the starlings, mourning doves, etc. away from the feeder). The other one is more wary of me, and I am pretty sure that is the one I managed to get a picture of today. If it had been the bold one, it would have been right up on the feeding platform instead of hiding behind the bricks that keep the feeder from tipping over.

I also now have two chipmunks that swing by. They chase each other sometimes when they are feeling territorial. I THINK this might be the second one.

I used to have squirrels running around my place in Denver. I loved watching them. In the morning I could put the car in the street and put my chair in the carport, enjoying the weather and the squirrels.

Here in the desert Southwest, you're lucky to see the occasional lizard, lol.

Have had a lot of rabbits running around this year. Way more than I usually see at one time. Lots of people complain about possums but they are great to have in your yard. They eat their body weight in ticks so are great for getting rid of ticks in the yard.
