The Official "Douchebag" Thread

The Urban Dictionary describes a douchebag as:

"An individual who has an over-inflated sense of self worth, compounded by a low level of intellegence, behaving ridiculously in front of colleagues with no sense of how moronic he or she appears".

This is your chance to call out that person in your life who makes your skin crawl, who makes you want to run them over with a Chevy. Call out your boss, your neighbour, that guy on the bus who pisses you off every morning, that idiot who just cut you off in traffic, anyone in your life who just needs to be called a real f'n douchebag.

No names please. We don't want to offend anyone.

So my boss on Monday decides that this weekend we require an inventory to reconcile the year end count. No notice whatsoever. In the mean time he will be away enjoying his weekend while I am banging away on a computer to make him look good.

What a douche bag !!!

So my co-worker shows up this morning an hour late while we are being audited...not only that but after he arrives he talks over me while I am explaining my inventory procedures to said auditor....after the auditor leaves he condescends my results in front of my fellow co-workers, all the while completely oblivious that his behaviour is in any way harmful to the situation.

I'm so glad that I started this thread. It gives me a chance to drop a deuce on stupid people in my life.

What a F'n douche bag !!

My favorite douchebaggery:

I'm about to go to the express checkout at a certain national retail chain that will remain nameless to protect the guilty. The checkout lines are modestly filled. All of a sudden, before I could get to the register, some fool wielding a full buggy of merchandise cuts in front of me straight to the 20-items-or-less register I was heading for. I only had 2 items, but he had, like, a full buggy filled. Before the cashier at the register could say anything or refer him to the customer service manager in charge to courteously escort him to the proper regular register to check out, dewd starts pulling his merchandise on the register, bitching all the way about: "I'm in a hurry; if you don't open up some more damn registers, I'm staying right here." Unfortunately, the store policy is that once a customer puts her items on the register, he can't be removed, so I had no alternative but to wait until he was checked out. Turned out, even for all that effort, he still ended up having to go to another register, because his card that he was going to pay for his items was rejected, and he had to go to the ATM machine to get the cash needed to finish the transaction...fussing and cussin' all the way.

Ahhh, yeah...that would be pure douchery. With an extra colostomy bag for langiappe.

I've never been able to understand the line jumper anywhere in life. At the grocery store. At the bank. At the movie theatre. Almost to a point of entitlement. To all you line jumpers out there Karma will bite you in the ass some day and to that I say " F U douchebags"

Thx for the story Anthony and for getting on board to calling out the douchebags who surround us every day.

I'm surprised you didn't step up and say something, Anthony. I simply will not let a line jumper slide.

If it had been me, I would have stepped up and said, "Excuse me. The end of the line is back there (----->)." Then, if he had started putting his crap on the belt, I would have started picking it up and throwing it back into his cart. Yes, I would have created a scene. And then got the store manager involved.

Line jumpers and the art of zen. I just let 'em go and a second later i have forgotten all about them. there are more important things in life to worry about.

Every time my particular douchebag yanks my chain, I remember #12:

12. Sometimes I look at certain people and think "Really? That's the sperm that won?"

Rua, where the hell's the fun in that? I'd much rather cause a scene and call the bastard out. Most of the time a loudly spoken "EXCUSE ME! THE LINE IS BACK HERE!" does the trick

Back at Capcom Unity, I've come across a couple of douchebags

Not to mention I've currently put up with one that has been throwing a hissyfit over Capcom Unity's rules

I'm really glad that I started the Official Douchebag thread because apparently I work with a whole bunch of f"n douchebags. I work with a guy who really is a genius when it comes to technical expertise but when it comes down to good ole' common sense he is a total f'n idiot. Some days I actually pray for him to win the lottery so that he will quit his job and disappear from my life forever. He is living breathing proof that smoking pot for most of your life leads to a significant reduction in brain function and basic human decency.

What a f'n douchebag.

Back when I lived at my old house, I tried to retrieve my basketball when it fell across the street.

After retrieving it, I almost got ran over by a douchebag that was driving ridiculously fast.

Why are there so many douchebags at stores. I was in line at the store here picking up a few things and the person in front of me gives the girl a $10. She made a mistake and gave her change for a $5, well she starts yelling at her and telling her she'll get her fired. The girl at the till is saying sorry and has tears in her eyes. I said nice and politely "excuse me, but she made a mistake kinda like your dad did when he didn't pull it out and give your mom a facial instead of giving birth to a pig like you!" For some reason I got kicked out of the store, I'm trying to figure out what I said wrong

While browsing on Capcom Unity, I find this user bagging at Capcom because Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney didn't get the Western localization treatment

This same user overlooked the game's publishing rights belonging to Level 5 instead of Capcom
