If you have any childhood memories that make you feel fond, you're welcome to post them here
I'll do the honors of starting off...........
As an elementary kid, I came across Captain Commando & he became my childhood hero as a result of me playing Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super-Heroes on my Sega Dreamcast

I obviously have a lifetime full of memories, at each "stage" of my life.
Childhood in Temple, Texas. Junior and Senior high in El Paso. 3 years in the Air Force and the travels associated with that.
After that, a few years in the auto industry in Detroit. A year with AT&T. The Detroit Riots of '67. Being on the bum during the Hippie era, hanging around Plum Street, and having girls panhandling for us to raise beer, food and drug money - and being available for all the sex we wanted, lol. Yes, "Those were the days,"
Going to Alaska and working in the bush. 3 years in Spain and getting rolled by 6 black hookers in London (told somewhere on the board.) More time in Spain. Then back to Alaska, at Cape Lisburne up on the northwest coast. Nikolski out the chain toward Shemya and Adak. There was a lot of military activity in that area during WWII, and are still some WWII relic sites.
Then about 6 months of traveling around the country by motorcycle, meeting hot babes and enjoying life. From Seattle east to Deadwood, South Dakota, Sturgis, and points east. Meeting my future wife in Detroit. moving on to LA, where I got into Aerospace on Black (classified) projects, as a radio communications technician. From there to Denver, because of a DUI I got in LA, and everyone here has heard me brag about the Magellan Project. 7 years after that in the Thermal Vacuum Chamber Lab, and finally retirement.
And, here I am.

favorite childhood memories, let's see, i remember the xmases full of gifts for everyone, going to family gatherings on the 25th & 26th for the day, having diner there, big houses
then the summers were fun in the pool with the cousins, playing legos with my cousin patrick and friend kevin, building starships and also playing with our he-man action figures
but every saturday mornings, there was this super action hero, my favorite childhood tvshow
there are still ppl on the net who do fanfiction and fanfilms, this one, i hope to see onscreen someday

I thought that Walt didn't have a TV way back then....
....
Mine? It's got to be this film with Gene Wilder, Peter Ostrum, and Jack Albertson. Enjoy!
