Seems on the up and up and Vicky is making plans to go (she is a spokesperson with Deauxma who lives in Texas).... As with all new conventions it could be terrible... it depends on who is there and how good it is.

I will work on some website discount passes if any of you are interested in seeing Texas in October...

I'm kinda surprised that Houston hasn't attempted some kind of porn convention, since it's a major strip club haven, and so many pornsters are close by.

At least they are planning early..that's a pretty good start.

Only about an hour or so away from me. And my birthday is the monday after. Get Sophie to go(on knees begging) and i'll definitly find a way to be there!! Might go anyway.

I'm guessing the date has changed since that poster was made the dates are different.

Galveston and Houston are indeed great...but TEXXXASCON will be in Dallas, not Houston. Sorry if I may have caused confusion. Were it be in H-Town, I could even save some pennies and try to attend, since I have family down there. Alas...Dallas may be too far and too expensive for my wallet. Oh, well...

No, Anthony, I know where the convention is. But it's still a short hop from Dallas to Galveston (for me.) It's about 4 hours to Houston and near an hour form Houston to Galveston. (45 minutes?) To me, that's a "short hop."

(Remember, Anthony, I live in Texas, lol, even if it is on the Western ass-end. )

Dang it. Was seriously thinking about going to this one. First Adultcon is up in the air and now this one is cancelled. The universe is trying to keep the Shaft from finally meeting y'all in person...

Yea, I was bound by the contract and wasn't allowed to tell you guys till Saturday. Then I had everyone over for BBQ yesterday and forgot about it, lol... It really sucks for them, they put a lot of money and time into it, but just felt like they couldn't pull it off in time, and would rather not have a bad show. Yeah I can understand them wanting to make a good first impressing with it being a brand new event and all. So are there any definite future conventions that you and the VNA is eyeing at this time?

maybe everybody can align for the exxxotica in NJ in edison its the biggest show by size and it relatively cheap in terms of hotels and airfare as compared to LA or Atlantic city
