If you like Dungeons and Dragons type of shows there is an animated series on Amazon called The Legend of Vox Machina. It was created by Critical Role, a group of voice artists and actors who stream their D & D campaigns and the series is based on the campaigns they play. Actually very adult oriented. Language, sex, and violence. I'm not a D & D player but I liked the show

Season 5 of The Last Kingdom dropped on Netflix a few weeks ago here in the UK. It's rather excellent and I highly recommend!

There's a show on Netflix I enjoy a lot called "The White Rabbit Project." Grant Imahara, Kari Byron, and Tory Belleci (from Mythbusters fame) investigate stuff from history, pop culture, etc. Unfortunately, Netflix cancelled the show after only 1 season.

:yeahbaby: Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

It's in my list to watch. I'm in that industry and not overly familiar with what went on with that company but the preview I saw made it look interesting.

Is it good?

This weekend I finished Pam & Tommy on Disney+ which was a lot better than I was expecting it to be, to be honest. It's a shame Pamela Anderson didn't get involved with the making of this (in favour I guess of her own documentary coming to Netflix later in the year) but I felt it was superbly made, very well acted and... well if you get to it the deposition episode is quite the brutal watch!

Now that I have finished that I am onto season 2 of Picard on Amazon...

Hulu and Peacock has the new season of the original Law and Order. It has been 12 years since last season. Still a great show.

Oh... I want to see this one! As a cook and a fan of her coq au vin recipe... I still use that recipe to this day. I love how it cuts down the cooing process from a day of work, to a couple of hours. The traditional which I love, has so many steps. But I loved watching Julia as a kid. Julia started me down my road of loving food!

That reminded me of this skit. Still sorta cute, but didn't hold up so well for me.

Oh old SNL was so much better! I haven't seen it in 20 years! But this was fun! Thank you! I do not like modern humor much. I do not like dead hooker jokes and some of the weird stuff they do now.

They have to be "edgy" which ends up not being funny at all. Give me simple old fashion goof ball stuff. Last week I put on "The Jerk" on Tubi because it's silly and fun. That movie couldn't be made today.

So many of the movies I love couldn't be made today, Blazing Saddles, The Jerk, The Toy, heck even Cannonball Run.

People are just too uptight now.

Lord help me, as background noise while I was sorting through some stuff in the house I somehow made it through every single episode of "Is It Cake?" on Netflix. Premise was solid but my goodness I found it so annoying (and yet still watched it to the end).
