I wanted to say a big thank you to Carmen,for allowing me to show my support in ways I never thought possible. For letting me be myself in doing this,and sharing my passion,drive,enthusiasm for you. When I joined the VNA,I did it with an open mind,not knowing what was going to happen or where things were going with this. But the more I stuck around,and hung in there,and saw it grow and grow and grow,and then you came along,it was like my life had changed for the better. There is something in who you are,as a person,that made me want to know you more,that wanted to be a real friend. Not just be attracted to any "fame" because of what you did,it was a quality that you possessed,that I hadn't seen in anyone else.
Little by little,I made my feelings and voice known about you,and for me,it works. Would it work with any other lady here? Maybe,but not to the extent that I have done with you. It has been a very interesting time with you and I'm glad that I have gotten to know you and truly call you my friend,in this life. No one else can deny that,or question it,or take it away. You have influenced my life for the better,and I thank you for it. You have challenged me to become a better person each and every day. You have seen me at my best and at my lowest. A lot of this stuff I've repeated to you,but I will say it again and again.
I'm glad that I have toughed it out,through all the storms and battles in my life,to get to this point. This isn't by any means over,but just a way to say here on this forum,in view for everyone in here to see,whether I'm loved or hated for what I do,and I couldn't care less what others think. I simply want to say thank you for being you,for being here,and for being a friend that I love very much. I couldn't ask for anything more than that. I love you Carmen. You're the best thing going today and always! You rock!
