Writing can lead to a lot of misunderstandings and emojis can mean different things for different people. And when English isn't the native language (I don't know if that's the case here), it gets even more complicated. Why don't you just ask her what she meant by that?

They were anonymous when it filed, most likely. Since then, they have either come forward and openly admitted they were part of the case, or been outed by others. Journalists know that adding names creates more clicks than leaving them anonymous so, even if they were outed against their will, once the information is out there the news sources will use it. They also could have been anonymous initially (to prevent reprisals) and then testified at hearings, which also gets their names out there. I am not familiar enough with the case to know the specifics.

These poor ladies have to put up with garbage every day. You've got to be thick-skinned to wade thru it. Thin-skinned people will be offended and won't be able to handle it. You have to be able to laugh it off and realize that the hater is probably some poor slob sitting in his mommies basement spewing hate to the world. The ladies have to have strong confidence in themselves and be able to simply blow off the idiots.

If i run across a comment I don't like, I scroll right on past it. I don't even read it. I refuse to fall into their trap. I totally ignore them and continue looking for the good stuff.
