Fucking Daylight Savings Time again!

We had our first casualty this morning.. Hot Wife Rio normally does her shows at 12 noon est every sunday, which is 10 am for her. Since we changed our clocks last night, and Arizona doesn't change theirs, now her show is a 9 am her time, so of course she missed it.

Anyone in regular contact with Monica Milf? Better remind her so the same thing doesn't happen to her...

I forgot, too, so I was 1/2 hour "late" to Rio's show. So, since she was an hour late, I was actually a half-hour early Therefore, my record is still clean. Yay, Me!

surprised it hasn't bothered me when it usually does. I still wished they would just stop messing with the clocks. Shoot here in Tennessee they were thinking about stopping it, either way, staying on either daylight savings or standard, for our part of the State we would either be on Eastern or Mountain time during parts of the year Central the rest of the time, might make for some new and interesting time zones.

Hi, now I realise with Vicky's next camshow will be for me next Monday at 7.00am instead of 8.00am. With retirement, I will have to make sure I'm wide awake for the show. Also, for me, more complication, when daylight savings ends, where I am in Melbourne, Australia, at the end of March, I think it would be back to 8am. Not sure, we'll see. Glenn

When I was doing it , we used to talk about confused people being "Disorientated in Time and Place" - I usually manage to get one out of two right!! (On a good day)

Everybody needs to do it! But gonna be a nightmare to keep track of it in the meantime! As to drive across you'll be going backwards and forwards lol...

in Memphis, Middle, and West Tennessee will be part of the year in the Central Time Zone then in the Eastern time zone the other part of the year, East Tennessee will be in Eastern then the Atlantic time zone. Think they still have to get US government approval to make the switch, but yeah yay for confusing.

It’s the same for Arizona now. Whenever you travel through Az, you’ve got to figure out, “Wait! Are they on Mountain time or Pacific time?”

When we shift times, that puts us an hour ahead of or behind Juarez. There is a massive amount of cross border commerce here, including my nephews business. So you actually lose two hours of commerce. In the morning, we are open an hour before Juarez, so we lose that hour. Then, that evening when El Paso shuts down, Juarez is still working for another hour. So, two hours of work lost.

what's going to be fun is the people heading over to West Memphis, Arkansas in general, and down into Missississippi, once leaving Memphis would be back in the Central time zone. so much confusion. But the other way keep standard time all year round we would end up in the Mountain time zone in Memphis parts of the year, and the Eastern part would be in central, either way, extreme confusion, and yes like Vicky, a major headache either way, probably would have to make some new time zones.

This morning (with the dawn arriving at a quarter after 6 AM my time) I tweeted that if DST didn't take effect, I'd be waking up to full daylight at near 5:30 in the morning at summer's peak. (Of course, I don't sleep nights due to my overnight job.) Someone from Indiana responded that because of DST and the sharpness of the sun's angle towards them, their sunsets don't occur until nearly 9:00 to 9:30 PM at their summer's peak. OUCH.

I still would rather see it become more consistent worldwide than eliminate it altogether.

I miss it being in April, then the week before Halloween or so it goes back to standard time, with that Halloween you got an extra hour of trick or treating and it got darker earlier
