All Memphis home games are pretty much on Saturdays per an agreement with the Memphis Redbirds baseball club, the Redbirds don't play on Saturdays when in town, easier to convert the back to a baseball field after the games on Saturday

This weekend's results are

Saints v Liverhampton - away win by 2 (but I really, really hope Saints get a point - mainly to stuff Klopp up in title race).
Man City v Brighton (FA Cup) - City after extra time
Bournemouth v Burnley - away by 1
Huddersfield v Leicester - Home by 1
Newcastle v Palace - draw
Everton v Arsenal - Everton by 2
Watford v Wolves (Fa Cup) - Watford after penalties
Chelski v West Ham - draw
Here was certainly a sin worth sinning and I applied myself with characteristic vigour to its practice

I must admit, I was nervous we'd cock up the first game so very happy we got through it. Also really pleased for Son to grab the first goal (even if it was via a deflection!) Naturally everyone kind of wanted Kane to score the first, but Son has been incredible for us this season and so super nice to see him get a bit of deserved individual glory.

Quite how long the winning streak will continue though is another matter haha. I still think City are in full automatic mode, playing games without any dramas or panic and in the past, when they have been in the mood to take us apart, they haven't hesitated to do so. Frankly, if we can somehow win in either the league or Champions League it will be amazing, but not holding my breath for either.

Disappointed for Wolves in the FA Cup today, I thought they would put up a good fight v City in the final due to their impressive record v the top 6 this season. But credit to Watford for hanging in there to go through. I think we can pretty much give City the trophy now though.

Rokkerr - I have a soft spot for Leeds this season with Bielsa in charge and hope they can hold on to at least the automatic promotion spots. I'd love to see Bielsa v Pochettino next season! (If you didn't know, Bielsa is the person who discovered Pochettino as a young boy and gave him his first chance. The story goes that Bielsa turned up in the middle of the night at the Pochettino family farm, knocked on the door and said I've been told your son has a talent for football... somehow didn't get shot on the spot and instead was allowed to look at the sleeping Pochettino's legs where he declared, he looks like a footballer and signed him on the spot!) There's no wonder he has the nickname El Loco :)

Oh my word!!! What an absolutely incredible, insane game we've just witnessed between Man City and Spurs! I'm proper shaking still and my head is pounding... I can't believe we came through that and won!

That first 11 minutes was ridiculous - we knew City would come at us fast, but 2-2 in the blink of an eye... and that as it turned out wasn't even the the most dramatic part of it all!

VAR decision on the Llorente 3rd goal - I think we were kind of lucky to get away with it, but would also have been a very harsh call by the referee to say for definite handball.

And then VAR to the rescue on what would have been City's injury time winner. No doubt on this one, but man alive, what drama! From utter heartbreak to jubilation (after another 2-3 minutes of sheer dread lol). The reaction of both managers was priceless. Pochettino already down to his shirt in anger, then it was Pep's turn to rip off his jacket in disbelief.

I've been chatting with Gert on Twitter as he's been through similar emotions yesterday with the amazing Ajax result. I think he's just about calmed down, but Spurs might just have set him off again :D

Spurs v Ajax in the Champions League Semi Finals... It's got the makings of something very special and exciting indeed. Forget Liverpool v Barcelona, this is going to be the one to watch! COYS!

I was wondering when you were going to post. Amazing result for you. I'd have to say that the final goal by Spurs was a bit lucky... that being said, great result. Not sure I like VAR.

For me the Llorente goal sums up why VAR shouldn't be used for situations like that. You could have a group of 10 people look at the incident and there would be a definite split decision over handball or not. Having said that, I think this time the ref did the correct thing - his gesture of shrugging with his hands up suggests he can't say for sure and so lets the goal stand. But on another day, a different ref could decide differently and I don't think that should be acceptable.

For the offside (biased or not in this case!) I don't mind it as we're dealing in relative fact. Aguero was offside and I think that if VAR had not been in place, the linesman would probably have flagged anyway. But as we are learning, they are now instructed to let play carry on and then check after if required.

I'm not a fan of VAR overall though, purely because too many incidents are down to opinion and if that's the case, let it be the ref on the pitch.

I'd rather Arsenal started 1-0 down with 10 men than start 0-0 with 10 + Mustafi!!

Yep, so far results couldn't have been better for us - aside from losing to City of course - but all things considered we're still 3rd after a set of games where we should be out of the top 4.

United were awful and will seriously need to get themselves back up for the Manchester Derby tomorrow and then face Chelsea. Arsenal have a tough couple of games v Wolves and Leicester next. I'd like to think that with our superior goal difference, even 3 wins will be enough. It would be mighty typical of Spurs though to join in the shooting oneself in the foot competition and drop points to Brighton tonight!

I think one thing is 100% for sure this coming summer is that we're going to see some eye watering amounts of money being spent by the top 6 clubs. United need close to an entire team and will need to back OGS big time. Chelsea will no doubt manage to delay their transfer ban and spend for the next couple of seasons. Arsenal are still in need of several improvements and will need to back Emery. Spurs surely (please please please!) will finally spend more than the spare change they found under the seats at the old White Hart Lane. And let's not forget Liverpool and City - whichever comes up just short will no doubt look to make a couple of big money signings in order to go one step further next season.
