Users on Windows 7 and 8.1 have started to notice a prompt asking them to reserve their free copy of Windows 10, which will be available on July 29.

About Cortana, Microsoft Edge, Windows Hello, MS Office and the return of the Start menu...

I decided to reserve Windows 10 Upgrades for both my Desktop (currently Windows 7) & Laptop (currently Windows 8.1). Curious to know what difference it will make to both computers :signhammer:

Yeah, I did, too. Laptop. My desktop is an old XP, so it wouldn't be compatible. I'm curious, too. We'll see in July, I guess.

win10 is more of win 8.1 if you like 8.1 then 10 is the next step.

the only thing i don't like about 10 is Cortana.

i don't need M$ to know my kinks
