The following found it's way into my mail service this morning, apparently Microsuck is 'cracking down' on certain use's of Skype, and other of "their" software. I know you thought you 'bought' your software, but guess what, you're just 'borrowing" it's use!'

Taken from their 'new policy and privacy statements"
Isn't it nice to know that nudity and pornography are classed with Graphic Violence, bestality, and criminal activity. I guess all those Military service people using skype to visit with their loved ones and show a tit, or pussy are now 'criminal', according to Microsuck, in addition they say in one line they won't monitor the activity, but further down say they scan activity so that they can push ad's toward the user that would result in the user seeing things Microsuck feels the user of their software may be interested in purchasing.

Oh and if you break any of their rules, they maintain they have the right to force you to stop using Any or ALL of their products. (and can do so remotely)

3. "New" Code of Conduct.

a. By agreeing to these Terms, you’re agreeing that, when using the Services, you will follow these rules:
i. Don’t do anything illegal.
ii. Don’t engage in any activity that exploits, harms, or threatens to harm children.
iii. Don’t send spam. Spam is unwanted or unsolicited bulk email, postings, contact requests, SMS (text messages), or instant messages. (would this include crap from Microsuck?)
iv. Don’t publicly display or use the Services to share inappropriate Content or material (involving, for example, nudity, bestiality, pornography, graphic violence, or criminal activity).
v. Don’t engage in activity that is false or misleading (e.g., asking for money under false pretenses, impersonating someone else, manipulating the Services to increase play count, or affect rankings, ratings, or comments).
vi. Don’t circumvent any restrictions on access to or availability of the Services.
vii. Don’t engage in activity that is harmful to you, the Services, or others (e.g., transmitting viruses, stalking, communicating hate speech, or advocating violence against others).
viii. Don’t infringe upon the rights of others (e.g., unauthorized sharing of copyrighted music or other copyrighted material, resale or other distribution of Bing maps, or photographs).
ix. Don’t engage in activity that violates the privacy of others.
x. Don’t help others break these rules.
b. Enforcement. If you violate these Terms, we may stop providing Services to you or we may close your Microsoft account or Skype account. We may also block delivery of a communication (like email or instant message) to or from the Services in an effort to enforce these Terms or we may remove or refuse to publish Your Content for any reason. When investigating alleged violations of these Terms, Microsoft reserves the right to review Your Content in order to resolve the issue. However, we cannot monitor the entire Services and make no attempt to do so. - yet further down in the 'agreement' you 'automatically agree to if you use their products, they reserve the right to scan your system to determine what programs your using, and if they don't fit the agreed upon "standards" for Microsuck, they reserve the right to remove, or stop the programs in question, without any notice to you!

Isn't it nice to know big brother / sister is watching our every move, our every activity, and deciding for "US" what is right and what is wrong. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to know I'm being coddled (NOT), another portion of their new "service agreement" has to do with the collection and retention of medical records as they see fit. And they wonder why my medical records are all encrypted to the heaviest standards available. I've taken the step in fact of removing any Microsoft product from my servers and moved exclusively to Linux, and varients of Linux, strange too that the lastest Microsoft servers don't even run their own server programs, but run Linux, or varients of it, maybe their concerned that someone in their own company might be gathering data on them...

:scared:

And don't forget if you get Microsuck upgrades as most of our PC users do they now have a unremovable icon for upgrading to Windows 10 in the service bar. be damned careful, if you click on it, you could find yourself getting Windows 10 pushed into your machine, no matter what YOU want for YOUR Privately owned equipment. And by all reports Windows 10 takes it upon itself to 'approve' or deny you the use of software your now using, if it doesn't fit their 'new standard'.
