Everything starts so friggin' late. Don't they have, like, "7 PM" on their clocks in Tampa?

I didn't get in 'til this afternoon, and not settled into my room until about an hour ago (6 PM now.) What a freakin' day, more later in my travelogue. Gonna go to the Caravan of Stars at Bare Asses up in Holiday (Half the stinking way to Jacksonville, ) Doesn't start til 10 PM. Criminey, They've never heard of "bedtime" in this friggin' town?

EDIT: Naah, It's been a long day for TheOldFart and I'm really starting to wind down. So I'll just kill tonite and go to the shindig tomorrow. i DO need to be there for that one, so a good rest is good for me.

Well, Fanfest this afternoon ended up great. It started out slow. But by an hour and a half in, it was going well, and ended up pretty strong. Vicky, Julia, Sara, Lauren, Cleo and Lylah made it really great. Carmen was a no-show (remember, I know about no-shows, lol,) so she'll get her spanks tonite. I think the ladies who went to the Bare Asses Club last night made a long night of it.

So tonite is the Caravan of Stars at Thee Dollhouse. Doesn't start until 4 fucking AM - oh wait. It's at 11 PM. Vicky won't be there, but I know all them young chicks will be, so I'm going to try to at least make an appearance.

Tomorrow, looks like a bunch of us are going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game. That should be really cool. Rokkerr is going to get us some hopefully good seats, so we'll see. Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hopefully will be a good game.

Then, tomorrow night is the awards show. I'll make that one. 6:30 PM. Finally! Something at a decent hour.

Well, sorry, folks. Great ambitions, but low actuality. Looks like Vicky and Julia did make it to the club, but not me.

I ate dinner and laid down, but when I woke up, I just didn't feel right - still tired and a little weak. I ate too damn much for dinner again. The chicken was all right (found a Boston Market. I LOVE their food,) but the damn pecan pie was too much, I think. Damn thing was pretty close to a 1/4 pie. Made me feel glutted and stuffed. And, at 72, your metabolism has slowed way down, so your body doesn't burn stuff off like when you're younger. So I'm sure I really didn't get the rest I had hoped for.

When I woke up at 10:30, I just didn't feel right (or safe) going out on the road. I didn't want to drive near 1/2 hour to get there, drink a couple beers, then try to drive back home at 1 or 2 AM. As I mentioned in Charlee's forum, I do need to accept the realities of my age, and something seems to tell me when something is beyond what I should be doing. I never was an exerciser, so my bod really is a bit weaker and my knees give me grief, altho a pill I take (JointLax) seems to have helped with that.

So, I texted Carmen that I couldn't make it, and headed on to bed. Now it's freakin 4 AM, and, because I went in so early, I'm awake like a night owl, lol. I'm sure I missed a great time. But today looks promising. Football at 1 PM (Meeting up around 11 or so, I would guess,) then tonites show at 6:30 will be easy to get to. So I fully expect to be able to report on the Awards Show. I'm hoping they'll let us take cameras in. Given the number of cell phone cameras out there, I would assume it will be ok. We'll see.

Thanks Walt for the updates over the last couple of days. What a start to your trip. I'm not sure if I would have been able to recover from a start like that, but the pursuit of pornstars can make a man do crazy things :)

The Nightmoves Awards are NOT the best - unfortunately they refuse to change it up year after year and it's a lot of work for the girls.
The ''talent'' sometimes doesn't show up (for a number of reasons).

Saturday night was at Thee Dollhouse - it was loud, packed like a sardine and literally impossible for any one to really talk and socialize.
Unfortunately, I walked in and got recognized by my gym trainer :(

We did get together with Walt, Handcock, Vicky, Sara, my friend Paul and Deez Nuts at the Tampa Bay game on Sunday.... very fun BUT blazing hot. So hot we left at the end of the 3rd quarter. Direct sun was pretty rough.

Sunday night was red carpet interviews for Vicky, an award for Sara Jay for her movie Sara Jay loves her BBWS, a Hall of Fame award for Julia Ann and... a loud club.
I filmed the best of the night and took a few pics of what I thought was the best action.

Tons of girls and local things in new York for those in the mood to travel.
