Oh I misunderstood. It's not for clothes, they are keeping that... it's just for toys and bedding etc... so why the big fuss?
How many girls here played with trucks? I used to love racecars and dumptrucks I used to build entire cities in the sandbox, I was a tomboy but I don't think I was every confused about my femininity at the same time...

Yeah I always played with Matchboxes and stuff. And other little cars. Even my nephews would play with GI Joe's or regular dolls and they're into football and all that stuff now!

But the guy who impersonated the Target customer service rep has balls! Not sure if I agree with them openly almost thanking him though, as a company they should be neutral, that's the first thing they teach you in PR 101!

Apparently they weren't able to do this with clothes because of sizing and fitting differences. Since boys and girls clothes are sized differently.

Wow! I never knew there was a gender label for toys! :ohthedrama:

I played with matchbox and hot wheels cars. I was a tomboy and proud of it. I built cities in the sand, I was real good at roads. And who says a kid has to sleep on certain sheets! Come on people!! That's just crazy.

Zany :D
Enjoy each day we are not promised tomorrow!

Not sure what Roland meany by "sizing issues," but that has always been a confusion point for me. I don't see the problem.

A mans shoe is a size "9." But a woman's shoe the same size is a size "12." A man's shirt is size 15. A woman 's shirt the same size is a size 12.

Of course I understand the difference in mens and womens designs. But I don't understand why the numbers have to be different.

That's exactly what I meant. Boys and girls size numbering system are different. This was the main issue on why they weren't able to mix clothes which they were actually planning to. As to why their sizes are different? I never fully understood why they size clothes differently though.

Good thing that Target went bankrupt in Canada, or whatever the reason was for them leaving, I don't wanna see guys in pink snowsuits, with matching scarfs, mitts and a toque

LOL, Julie!
My style is casual. T-shirt and shorts, or sweats when it's colder....and most of my t-shirts are actually men's. They're more comfortable and give you more room. Most girls shirts anymore are made to suck right against your body...no one wants to see my chub like that. I'm no size zero! Lol. But I'm not manly or feel manly for wearing a men's shirt. It's just way more comfortable.
