Container homes, Tasha? Well, let's test that theory, lol. I was traveling up I-35 from Austin to Dallas a couple months ago when I saw a large (what looked like) U.S.S. Enterprise off to the right. I had to take the next exit and go back to see what the hell it was. Turned out, it was an old Gaming room/restaurant that had failed and was for sale. It was named USS Pegasus, which was introduced in an episode of Star Trek - The Next Generation.

ANYway, while investigating that, I discovered this place that makes domed homes. There appear to be several companies that do that. I'm not sure if this place makes them for the consumer (I think they do) but they have several rentals available on the property. Also the office, and a nearby home, which may belong to the owners.

Anyway, I thought they were "cute," lol.

You can find this on Google Earth. Go to Italy, Texas. West of there, at the intersection of Hwy 1134 and I-35, you'll find The Pegasus. A quarter mile or so up Kinfolk Rd, look for Dome Park Pl. Go to Street view and you can "drive" around thru the property.
