Vicky, I have the latest flash installed,(especially after the last debacle I had with Flash) and a video display program that will handle any video format, or any format capable of displaying video, and I also get the X when I try to view any of the old archives, and like Ms Zany the new archive works just fine. I "think" I remember at one time someone saying that you folks were working on converting the old .flv format to the newer .mp4 format, is that true, and still going on. I also have some of the older video's that I'd like to watch, even if I'm forced to download and convert them myself if needed.

Thanks to you and Rokkerr and all the other behind the scenes folks, for the amazing job you and the other behind the scenes folks do every day to keep the system up and running, and always adding new content.

No we are not going to convert 7500 flash files... I don't have the processing power or the manpower or willpower to do that... lol...
How weird. The files play just fine for me on all my computers... I just tried them again on desktop and laptop... hmmmm.. wonder why you can't play them?

I hit maybe a third of the ones on the front page and they all played for me just fine on my laptop.

We just did a random check of pages all the way back to page 225 on Archives 1.0....no difficulty whatsoever playing any files on our laptop and desktop, but we can't play any Archives 1.0 on mobile devices.

Files in Archives 1.0 play fine on my computer. It's probably just a matter of updating Adobe Flash.

Hopefully, you saw Vicky's post, Mike and are simply reporting, but Archives 1.0 aren't supposed to/can't play on mobile.

Eddie, Zany didn't mention it, DrDave said he had the latest Flash installed, altho we don't know when he last updated. If I have video problems, the very first thing I do is go thru the procedure to redo my Flash, then I'll post a comment if they still don't work. As far as I remember, that has always solved my problem. I wonder if somehow your Flash can get hosed, even if it's the latest issue.

Folks, I would suggest that, if you have video problems, that you go thru the update procedure, (remove, reboot, reinstall reboot,) even if you just did it the day before. Just a suggestion but I've seen it work. No guarantee it will work for everyone, but, if the videos work for some people, then it's not a site problem. So, to me, it's worth a try.

Also do you have good maintenance software installed? I have Auslogistics Boost Speed and System Mechanic from Iolo. System Mechanic has numerous tools to work over your computer in addition to the daily scan I have scheduled. I take an hour or so and run them every couple weeks or so. The daily scan cleans out/repairs your memory and your registry, junk files, left over odds and ends, etc. I am usually astounded at the amount of clean-up that it does on a daily basis.

I also have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed. I have the premium version, but, believe me, the free version is extremely good and would suffice for most all of you. It is very good and support is outstanding if you should need it.

Walt, I went back and checked, and here's the strange take on this. I can use Chrome and it works fine, to watch the older archives, and FF works fine to look at the newer archives. Yet they use the same Flash as far as I know. and I have auto update turned on for both browsers, as well as the main machine for Adobe flash.
And I also run the latest Malware Anti professional version and highly recommend it. It's suprising what it catch's I even had a browser search bar hidden in a jpg file lately, couldn't for the life of me figure out where it was coming from, every time I cleaned it out, it came back, finally turned antimalware on it with a deep scan, and it found it attached to a picture file. So every time I cleared the damn thing out, and then looked at the picture, it reloaded it. Doesn't exist here anymore, and let the provider of the photo know I was NOT impressed with heir attempt to pass an unwanted program along.

I just found out by accident how to save the shows to computer by right clicking and saving. on (archivesII)
maybe you already knew this ,but new to me ,and never known can do this .

Speaking about the Archives, we are down to the countdown to 10,000 archive shows. We are currently around 9820 total shows in the 2 combined archives. This number includes multiple or segmented shows, but none the less they are indeed shows in or of themselves. I'm counting them as individual shows, so damn it, they are shows...besides its the only way I could count them. The archives also includes early shows from Puma and Trisha before the VNA and does not include Vicky's early cam shows which can be found on her own website dating back to June 2004.

Over the last few months Vicky has been kind enough to stitch shows together, which obviously makes it much easier for the members to watch them...cheers to you Vicky for the hard work.

That being said, that puts us close to the end of this month when we will indeed hit show #10,000 ...wow thats a lot of naked girls since the first show by Puma Swede on November 12th, 2005.

....countdown to show # 10,000 is underway. I wonder which lady it will be?

It's not a perfect system and we have some old shows that are segmented, but damn it, we are going to celebrate this milestone like the VNA knows how:

So I'm not sure if people are still having issues watching the Archive 1 videos or not, but I may have found where the problem lies. Like DrDave, I was able to view Archive 2 videos just fine, but Archive 1 videos I could not view. Flash and everything else was updated, so I started to think that maybe it was a browser thing. I was initially using Firefox, but decided I would try to watch the videos on Chrome. Thankfully, the videos from both sites did work on Chrome. So, logically it must be a browser issue. I'm curious if anyone here is able to watch the Archive 1 videos successfully using Firefox?

Or maybe you all figured this out already? I only read the replies on the last page here. If that's the case, then, uhhh, move along, nothing to see here.

My advice? Don't use Firefox to view VNA archives

Safari is my main browser but for some reason, the forum pages sometimes crash on that browser. I use Chrome for the VNA sites now. Chrome is my porn browser...

Has to be a flash thing? Cause doesn't chrome update flash automatically but the other browsers you have to do manually? It works fine for me on chrome and explorer but not on firefox. Let me ask sitedepth if they know anything about the browser compatibility with our player... It used to work before, something must have changed in the past year with mozilla.

I can play back Archives 1 just fine, but I get 'not authorized' when I try to go to the Archives page 2. Using FF latest version. the message says "Authorization Required

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required " I'll try IE and see what happens.
