We just got a table - a VERY small table at AVN for the Fan Show at the Hard Rock in Vegas.
The space is extremely limited so I am not sure how we will allocate the space yet.
Showtimes are 12-8 daily except Saturday which is 12-4.
As I get more details I will let you know.
Wednesday January 20-Saturday January 23
The red carpet awards are Saturday night but I doubt Vicky will attend
There are zero fan deals that I can get for this show unfortunately....

I have yet to attend AVN...should I go?
Lol. I wish I could go. But Vegas is very far away. I can't even get to Exxxotica in NJ and I'm in Pennsylvania.
Sabrina Castello was like Ask Vicky if she can get BadKitty down to Vegas for me. Lol. I wishhh!!
PA is so boring, I just want one of you guys to kidnap me. x)

Busy, busy, busy... BUT fans tend not to spend cash as much because they get a bunch of stuff at other booths free.Maggie Green wrote:I have yet to attend AVN...should I go?

I will be there if I can, just recently had to buy a new car & started a new job a month ago after being unemployed for 7 months. I'm not a fan of the layout at Hard Rock, too crammed together. Love the hotel but the layout for the expo is just...ugh

Maybe AVN was what I went to with Pops and Anita a year or so ago. Memory is such a wonderful thing. Sure wish I had one.
Being in Vegas, maybe I can make this one.

Yeah, if I can't sell anything there then I can't really afford to come to this one. Would love to be able to meet more of my fans but when you add up airfare, hotels, food, etc, it's not cheap.EmilyRain wrote:TONS of freebies!! Unless there is something pre-packaged to sell like say a movie/dvd or toy, it's hard to get paid for the pics because fans kind of expect it free at that show.
I see just to get in the door its about $80 for the day... chances of them pulling out an extra $20 are slimmer....
We are doing for a number of reasons - with the hopes of making back the taxi to the hotel expenses...

I want to say we paid $120.00 or something close to it.

No if's, Corey. WHEN you end up going.... Remember, if you're not there, I get Carmen.
Get to Southwest Airlines now and check your fares. Look up your fare and put a tracker on it to report fare changes to you. I just looked for Jan 19th to 24th. Lowest non-stop round-trip is just under $400. And there are no baggage fees on Southwest.
Then I used a comparison site which checked numerous other airlines. Cheapest was Delta at $475 plus $25 for 1 bag and $60 for two. And that was one stop. 2-1/2 hours in Atlanta. Total time roughly 10 hours, vs 4 hours on the Southwest flight. Most were well over $500 ($575 range.) So that makes it a minimum of $500, one stop and 10 hours vs $400, no stops and 4 hours. (Well, one stop at the end, when you get to Vegas, Lol.)
Also, Southwest doesn't charge you a change fee if you have to change your flights. You would have to pay any difference if the new flight was higher than the first one. But you'll have to do that anywhere. And most airlines these days are charging you $100 per change. Yes, Hiway robbery, I agree. Sunz-a-bitches ain't getting my money. I fly Southwest.
I used Orbitz to look for hotels and found numerous in the $50 - $70 range. Or, if you want a really nice place for a pretty good price, go someplace like Hotwire and select one of their secret deals. You don't find out the price or hotel until you have completed the booking. But I tried them once and got what I would call a 5-Star hotel (DoubleTree in Dallas) for around $50/night.
Just be sure and double-check cancellation policies wherever you look.
I doubt you could go wrong by booking Southwest now. Then you have 'til January to pay off your credit card, lol.
Of course, I'm hoping my trip only costs me gas money. Somehow I'm going to convince Rokkerr and Vicky to zip on thru El Paso, pick me up, and give me a ride in the VetMobile.
