Hola!
It’s been a while since i last posted here wink :)
This year has been a total rollercoaster with everything that has been going on. My reality show that also featured a lot of Puma Swede, my book, promo tour and all the TV shows that i’ve been doing. Right now i’m still doing the Meet & Greet tour, more than a hundred dates in the past six months. It’s crazy! We go into a disco, people take pictures with me for one hour, and we’re off to the next location. Puma joined me on one of them while we were in Spain this summer. Lot’s of fun but with all the traveling it gets a little crazy sometimes!
So with all the travelling back and forth between Los Angeles and Holland, my calendar has been full over the last year.
In August i was offered a stand up tour in theaters with famous Dutch stand-up comedian Howard Komproe. His show LULverhalen ( Dick Stories ) has been running for three years in a row with an all guys line-up. But this season he wanted to do it with women. After talking about this a few times, i was nervous and not sure if i could do it, i decided to give it a try. We did a try out in the city of Rotterdam in front of a sold out crowd. I was nervous as hell, but i pulled it off and had a great time doing it. So now i’m in the middle of the tour and really enjoying it. I did 12 theaters and have a few more shows to go before the end of November. The shows in theaters are mostly on weekdays and so it’s been hard to do my cam shows for the last few months. But i’ll be back real soon. :)
Because off the succes the tour is being booked for more dates in May/June next year and we will also travel overseas to Curacao, Sint Maarten & Bonaire for shows. Exciting!
In the middle of all this, i had my wisdom tooth pulled. Great idea! After two days my face looked like the goodyear blimp and my jaw was infected and because of the infection i got another virus on top off it all. It took a lot of medicine and visit’s to the dentist & doctor to get my face & body back in shape. LOL
Another thing that i have been working on, is my personal Bobbi Eden toy line. There will be 25 products released in the spring of next year. Packaging is done and i’m really proud of what we’ve got so far! My idea was to have good products for a low price. The whole Bobbi Eden line comes with my brand new online store that will carry more than 2500 products and will also be launched in the spring of next year!
And last but not least... i’m gonna be working on my crochet book. In my reality show you could see how i do amigurumi crochet. This was picked up by some publishers who wanted me to write a book about it. Two weeks ago contracts were signed with Kosmos, who also handle all of Jamie Oliver’s books, and my book will be released October 2016. I’ll be designing around fifteen patterns for the book that i’ll start working on as soon as we get back to Los Angeles in December.
So in the coming weeks there’s some last shows in theaters, some more Meet & Greets to be done and i’m doing a few TV shows before i go back to LA and get to relax and work on my book.
As soon as i get back to LA, i’ll be shooting some new stuff for the site. Something i am looking forward doing!
X, Bobbi
