CAM ISSUES - Feedback, Voting, Mobile!

Yeah i was thinking about that, i can add another button at the top of the page to go to a help page like the one that we used to have for the old cam room that every one just ignored... http://www.vettenationlive.com/members/ maybe the button directly from the room will be better, it used to be a link on the models members area.

sure if you want to write it up and or enlist some help i'll be happy to put it up!

Well, actually, it was more of a friendly thought than a suggestion to "get your lazy ass to work, Walt!"

Ok, I'll work on it and see what I can come up with. I think your idea of a button/link to a help file or whatever is a good one, too. The moderators can push that link whenever folks have troubles.

Ugh can I just say that the new cam system is awesome!? I miss the emojis but the video feed is indeed picture perfect. It looked great at Shanda's show (no surprise I was at her show huh, lol!)

I still get blurry/scrambled vid on the mobile with my Samsung Galaxy S5, I cleared my cache on the mobile browsers and still does the same. I use my wifi

Once the system is stable, I'd love to be able to save the position of the various windows.

On the mobile side, any way of showing chat (although I can't imagine participating in chat on a mobile device with a virtual keyboard taking up too much space on the tiny screen).

Well just checked out Rita's show on mobile and no more blurry vid, can actually see the show, glad cause now I have another option so I won't miss a show, thanks vicky:)

Not that it is a big thing, not sure if there is an ability to have any naughty emoticons. Really like the new cam system.

Strange occurance on Maggie's show Tuesday evening, she lost comments coming to her about 15 minutes before the show ended, she was having a great time, guys were responding to her, and all of a sudden she realized she wasn't seeing comments back to her, it just stopped like a switch, AND at the same time I lost the ability to whisper to her, that part of the window just went away. About 2 minutes before ths show ended, the box to whisper to her showed up, and I immediatly whispered we were seeing her, she didn't respond, then she got a comment from a user that had been sent about 15 minutes before the end of the show. Very strange, damn long lag...

Last week, I was on to watch Sunny Lane's scheduled show. However for more than half of that show, I was not able to view her camera although I could hear her. It took some time but it was finally up and running and although I missed half of her show, I was happy to at least finish it. I logged on this week at 11 pm to see the debuting Tasha Reign. However for the 2nd week in a row I was not only not able to view her show but I also could not hear anything that was happening on that show as well. I ended up missing the whole show despite being told by the admins to refresh the page or to clear cookies. I know that this new site model is a work in progress and I don't fault anyone for how the show could not air for me or for anyone else that had that problem however this is the 2nd time this week that this has occurred. Is there anything that can be done about this issue? I don't want to have this be a continuing occurrence when I want to watch 1 of the models I want to see.

Last week the problem was Sunny using her usb mifi hotspot and choosing the wrong setting for the camshow. There is not anything I can do about that.

For Tasha today, i'm really sorry, it appears the hosting company restarted apache at the exact time that Tasha started to stream. Not even sure why it affected her, it normally shouldn't have. We had it figured out by the end of her show, and either we would have had to reboot, and kick everyone out or Tasha would have had to log out and come back.... But I have already spoken to the developer and we have added some extra safeguards and checks and balances in case that ever happens again. If all else fails and I'm not around, just ask the model to close her browser completely and come in fresh, it should fix the problem.

Sorry for the trouble, it is a work in progress... getting better all the time.

Not the admin on Samantah's show, but she's commenting about almost a minute lag between her and chat comments, I'm not noticing any lag on my end, and she's pportable in Florida, so it may have to do with her connection or something else.

Those usb mobile hotspots are really not made for video.. they are made for surfing the web and checking email.. broadcasting video takes more than 4G. You can expect it to be laggy.

Had our first serious over run tonight between Samantha grace and Jessie, Jessie signed in, but coouldn't get to the cam room, because Samantha didn't log out and close her window, her name stayed up. I whispered to her twice, and posted a PLEASE CLOSE YOUR WINDOW' message to the room, eventually she must have caught it, because Jessie came up, about 5 minutes late, but deffinetly not her fault.

Did you try the kick button? I asked for the programmer to allow mods to kick models after that time Emily scared us....
