Why do I keep getting taken to the "No Live Model" page when I try to sign into a cam show on my phone?

DK, you got that message because there was no live model.

On your phone, if there is no show on, the software won't let you into the room. You need to wait until a model is broadcasting. If you don't have access to a computer to check, just wait a couple minutes and try again. Also double check the models schedule http://vettenationlive.com/shows/calendar/monthly to make sure the mode hasn't rescheduled or canceled. It happens often.

Yeah, I'm as quick to get impatient as I am slow to figure shit out. I'll get this stuff down someday, with the help & guidance of the friendly locals.

Not sure if this has been posted about before, so just posting for visibility, occasionally we'll have someone log in to a cam show and it will have multiple entries for the same person all coming in at once. I asked which browser Sadie was using but never got a response.

Hasn't happened in a while, George, but, yes, it happens. In the last month, I've see maybe 2 or 3 log-ins a couple times, but nothing like Sadie tonite. Not sure if Vicky ever fingered out what was causing it.

I can ask JC to look at it but I hate to keep spending on thiis flash system when we are going to trash it soon and start completely over from scratch. I just saw some software last week that looks promising and asked them to investigate it. Can we live with it? Not like it happens every day?

We can live with it, it would be a waste of resources trying to replicate and diagnose if we're looking at alternative software anyway. Just being diligent and wanted to make sure the bug was reported. Like Walt said it only happens occasionally.

IN Angels show tonight DKPaine mobile dropped out and came back with no name and no characters showing or detected. Told the 'no name' station they needed a name, and he then came back with his regular name. NOT sure how he's getting back in with absolutely no name, unless the system stores mobile names for a time period.. Very Strange. Nothing else of note. Great Show, Angel looking great after her mini-vacation.

I've had that issue two Mondays in a row. I get kicked out (which is probably on my end), but when I log back in, I can't see anyone else's comments, and no one can see who I am. Both times I've signed out and back in a second time and everything was working fine.

And yes, Angel's show was great. She looked rested and happy to be back, and as absolutely gorgeous as I've ever seen her (which is saying something! Maybe it was the Nanaimo bar!). In fact, I can't think of anything that could have saved me from my own dreary mood quite like having her back on cams did, tech glitch or not.

I cant log into the chatroom on mobile, over wifi & my mobile nextwork, it tells me Model Is Not Live. I tried this with Lonestar Angel's show & she is live.....

I know if she is late and not in the room it will send you to the schedule. The way the mobile works (because of iphone) there has to be a live stream. So even if there is a show on the schedule, and she is supposed to be live, if she is really not live and streaming, it will send you to the schedule. I know its a pain. I can test it some tomorrow, but it has always worked that way in the past. You may have to "refresh" or "reload" your browser on your phone, cause maybe it's just loading from cache instead of actually loading from the server, that's the only thing I can think of.

I made it in via laptop, just to clarify while I was in Lonestar's show I tried to log in again from my phone to see if it would work & I got the same message. I never ran into this problem before thank you for the help I will try again tonight while Im not home (cache will be double checked as well).

Testing this today, I was trying to log into Kimber's show with my mobile but was given the "There is currently no model live" splash page when I was using Chrome browser, but was able to log in with the Firefox app. I think it's probably a cache/cookie issue. I'll be able to spend more time on this later tonight after work.

I just logged in to Kimber's on my cell phone using chrome with no issue. Yes I do believe you are correct, it must be a cache issue. Not sure how I would address this? Actually I think i do know, I can put a parameter in the file that controls this, to force re-read from the server, instead of reading from cache. Ok I'm on it.

I tried logging onto Sally's on Chrome via mobile & still ran into the same problem, when I tried logging on from the phone's factory installed browser then it worked.

I tried logging onto Sally's on Chrome via mobile & still ran into the same problem, when I tried logging on from the phone's factory installed browser then it worked.

So I did some troubleshooting this evening and was able to fix Chrome. Some of these steps might be extraneous, but for the sake of being thorough, this is what I did:

Basically since Android doesn't let you uninstall Chrome since it's part of the OS, you have to reset it to factory default.

Long press the Chrome icon to bring up the app info
From the app info screen, you can force stop Chrome if it's running,
Clear the cache from this screen
Click the manage storage screen
from the manage storage screen I cleared all data (this will delete bookmarks, so backup if you want to keep them)
Back in the app info screen I disabled Chrome and said yes to whatever prompts followed.
I turned my phone off then turned it back on
Went into Google Play and re-enabled and updated Chrome and now things are working just fine.

No one should have to go through that ever again, i added a line to the code today, telling it never to load from cache, to load from the server each time. So it will be a few seconds slower, but it wont send you to the schedule when there is actually a show on. As long as you have cleared cache one time, you will have the new code in your browser going forward.
