CAM ISSUES - Feedback, Voting, Mobile!

So Juan changed the html room to black background too now, lol.... so there goes that distinction! haha... the room is shaping up nicely, we now have all the model's links at the top as well.... and we have the fontsize + and - installed too!

DrDave obviously that guys browser was doing something bts, unbeknownst to him, I'm sure it wasn't him trying to log in 138 times.

Who uses Internet Explore when watching the cam shows, Ive been having issues....any suggestions?

Need more info, Spirit. What kind of issues? I use IE because I get slow feeds using Chrome and have no problems

The feed was lagging, it was for me last night too at the 10pm EST show.

Like I said, my feed lags and "sputters" when I use Chrome, but is perfectly fine when I use IE. So I have to believe it's something in your computer. I even removed Chrome, cleaned out my computer, rebooted and re-downloaded Chrome. It was a tad better, but not full-on good. So I just use IE. Have you tried using a different browser?

I have tried usimg Firefox with 0 luck & I only use Chrome when posting to the forum.....maybe I should try Safari?

You're talking about your computer, right? I've never used Safari, so don't know about it. I guess it can't hurt anything, lol. I assume you've cleared your cache, cookies etc. etc., then rebooted? Also, do you have "maintenance" software? Something that goes deeper into it and clears out all useless stuff? Your registry might need cleaning out, for example.

Yes Im talking about my computer Safari is a web browser. Im in the process of computwr maintenance now, clearing cache, cookies etc isnt the same looking as it is in Chrome.....either way Im taking a look at everything.

Stacey was having the same issue tonight in Julia Ann's show, Walt and I both suggested restarting the browser, clearing cache but it appeared to be a persistent issue for her.

We're having some other "mobile" problems in the cam shows. A lot of people are showing up as mobile users. But, when they can't turn their cams on, they report that they're on their computers, or tablets. This has been going on for several days now.

Yesterday, CGYMike couldn't turn his cam on. he was showing up as mobile, but said he was on his Mac.

Today, several members stated they were on PCs but were showing up as Mobile users.

Yes because they are in the html room.

This happens when their flash has been disabled. Right now on Chrome, every time you clear your cache it disables flash again.
What a pain in the ass. So we decided to try to send them (automatic redirect) to the html room, when flash is disabled instead of them just getting the black screen. We figured getting a camshow would be better than just getting a black screen.

This past weekend I found out that the html room doesn't work on MS Edge browser. This is why Kelani UK was complaining so loudly. I thought it was an isolated incident until more people complained about it. It appears that MS Edge does things completely different than all the other browsers and will require a workaround. My programmer JC is on it now.... so in the meantime, an hour ago, we took away the automatic redirect to the html room, so the people with Edge and everyone whose flash is disabled for that matter, will get the black screen, then they can decide for themselves to either enable flash or go to the html room themselves.

You guys can all tell me to quit whining if you want, but I have to say I'm a little frustrated with the number of cancellations since I signed back up six days ago. I totally get that all the ladies are very busy & have lives outside of work, too. The last thing I want to do is be "that guy" who finds something to complain about when there's so much here to love. But with just a few exceptions, most of the shows I've made it a point to be free to watch over the last week have been cancelled or postponed, often at the last minute. Again, I don't want to be that guy. It's just frustrating to sign up to see all these lovely ladies on cam, but only get to actually see a few of them.

If I'm out of line saying this, tell me. Just feel a bit disappointed as a paying customer that it's so difficult to catch the cam shows I want to see live because the talent routinely has to reschedule or cancel altogether.

Well, that's their job, DK. When duty calls, they have to go. The ladies also get sick, have family to deal with, many other issues. I get an average of 200 schedule changes per month. We members are used to it and deal with it. I understand your frustration, but it kind of goes with the territory. Like you mentioned, they have much more to do than just do weekly cam shows here. And, in their defense they do reschedule as often as they can.

I'm sorry Paine, I don't have much control over it. You could tweet the models to let them know you miss them? I think sometimes they don't realize that other people have changed their own plans, or made special arrangements to be at their shows, they think no one will miss them or notice if they are not there... you could always click the cam button there in the upper right corner of the room though... (it goes to http://vettenationlive.com/goToCams.php ) there are always lots of models on vnacams.com that you can hang out with in between shows or while waiting for the next show? Yes it's for private cams but you can always check them out as a guest....

Yeah, like I said, I don't want to come across as a dick or anything. The last thing I want to do is give any of the cam performers shit for having lives & other commitments. Just a little bummed because I haven't gotten to see some of them live in a long time.

I like the other cams, Vicky, but I'm awkward as hell on them. If I'm not tipping, I feel like a jerk. But I can't really afford to tip like I'd like to, so I have a tendency to bail before too long. I'm also not sure how all the bells & whistles work there.

It's really not hard, DK. Just push buttons and find out. Also, the moderators are supposed to be making periodic comments about the icons, full screen and voting. If they're not, just ask. Ask me and I'll help you finger out anything you like.

And, in the Vna, there's no tipping. You just watch and enjoy all the shows you like. No tipping required.

If a model you like cancels, just click the calendar at the upper right of the cam room for the models schedule. Also check the "Last Minute Changes" topic to see where your favorite moved to. It is fairly up to date, but can be behind. But it will most always be updated by the end of the day. I do my best to keep it current.

I know there's no tipping in the VNA Live shows. I meant in the shows at http://vettenationlive.com/goToCams.php, which Vicky recommended I check out if there's nothing going on at VNA Live. There they do ask for tips, prompt you to buy credits, etc.

The VNA shows are super easy to navigate, too. It's those other cam shows that have a bunch of extra features I haven't quite got down yet.
