CAM ISSUES - Feedback, Voting, Mobile!

Not sure when yet, maybe tonight, depending on who is around.

Here is what we need to test, I'm just writing this down so i have it someplace where I won't lose it and can refer back to it! lol... (I may add to this as i think of things)

OK i need 2 or 3 models to log in at once and see what happens. AND I need 2 or 3 moderators in at once, and i need about 3 members to log in. I can't test coming in from vna live sites right now, because the links are not live.

Note to moderators - you cannot have video if you are a moderator, if you want your video on, you will have to go in as a member or a model. You are welcome to go in as a model if you want to stream a video for the members like Carl does sometimes... Models and moderators have same rights in banning/kicking/muting seeing ips, etc...

Her's what we need to check:
Models text is pink
Moderators text is red
Members text is black
Message gets sent to the room if a member is muted, kicked or banned

Moderators need to check:
It should show you the member's name and ask "are you sure?" before you kick, ban or mute so you don't get the wrong person by mistake.
It should give the moderators and models a spot to write notes about why they were banned
You should be able to unban, i think you can unban only someone you banned, not someone another mod banned
Mods should be able to double click on a name and grab the ip

We have to test the "whisper" function (only mods & models can whisper)

we need to test that the members don't have to refresh in between models, ever
what happens when a model presses pause
does the mute button work for models, ie can the members hear her after she pressed mute
can the members resize the models video, resize the chat area, chat font, resize the members videos area... what happens when too many are on cam, do we get a scroller?

Can members vote on a show
does the vote button come back when a new model comes on
Moderators and models can't vote.

Oh and the most important test of all, i need a bunch of people to test iphones, android phones, ipads, mini ipads, etc.... to see what happens when there is a show on, and if it redirects properly when there is no show on....

Who will be around tomorrow morning at about 10 am est? Members please log in en masse, try it with your camera's on and off.....

Vicky or Rokkerr:
Will the address that we go to now, be changed, or once the new system is turned up, will the links we now use for member and admin signins redirect to the new system? I know they have 'different' address's for now, in order to get the testing done without interupting the current sites, but once the new system is turned up will all the ladies link pages have to be changed to the new system? or will the link just re-direct during the changeover and then 'assume the address's now used, when the turn up is done,and confirmed to be working correctly?

Nothing will change for anyone, it should be seamless. All the models and moderators must log in through the blog though, it will not work otherwise.
Go to http://www.vettenationlive.com and click on "model login", for moderators and models same thing... then click on broadcast video. Moderators click the button that says "login as moderator". You will see, super easy. You can go test that any time you like now... click broadcast video for the old room, click broadcast video (beta) for the new room.

]Vicky, while I found the enlarge chat room character (font) size and it does a wonderful job on the incoming text, the outgoing text is still way too small for my older eyes. Is there a way to increase the font size on the outgoing chat window, or any of the other locations.

What do you mean? It changes all the text size from the moment you press the button?

It did change the text size in the reply window, but when I change the tet size, my outgoing window remains the same itty bity teen age eyes only size.....lol. I don't get a change on that text outgoing, where 'you' type your questions to the model, I'll admit I didn't try it as a 'user/member' but only as an admin/model, it changes the Incomng text just fine, but the outgoing remains itty bitty teeny weeny....

Even one or two sizes larger would be nice, then I might be able to tell that I mispealed something....lol

Will anyone be around today at 5 pm est? That gives us an hour before kristi maxx is on. I know we talked about 9 pm est, but the software developer won't be around at that time.
Last time we had buffering, i want to see if the buffering is fixed?

I know your putting your heart and everything else into the new cam room, and it looks great so far, but I'm afraid that members and models both will be dissapointed if they can't figure out a way to enlarge the members cams, the models won't be able to see the guys (and gals) in a large enough size to see what they have, and the term teenine weenie will come true for all the guys 16" or not, and a fair number of the models love to see one or more of the lady members during their shows, and right now the image size is so small, that even a lady as large as Sam38G won't be visible to the other members much less the models.
And a question, I know you've done away with whispers between members due to some less than polite (to put it midlely) members, but will there be a private chat available ? Several of the members love to talk to each other during shows, opening a private chat frame will prevent accidents of actually meaning to whisper to someone, but insted putting it out to th entire room embarassing both whisperr and whisperee, but if a Private chat window could be opened, or refused the members could still chat with other members while enjoying the show. I know that admins and models will have the ability to whisper, and that's good, but what about an admin who wants to talk to another admin who's logged in as a member, for example AdminWalt on duty, and Carl, or myself or Handcock show up and Walt wants to know if one of us can pickup the show, or the following show, will the admins be able to whisper, or open a private chat window with members?
I know that first you want to get things working, and as todays test showed, there are some issues to be resolved yet, and I know that version 2 is coming as soon as you can get version 1 working, but these are just things that have come to mind, or I've had someone ask me about. Zany picked up on one that I overlooked, there's no way to sign out, you just have to dump the page to exit, not that it's real problem, unless dropping out that way leaves something in the system, that will cause a problem when that person tries to sign in again. oh final note, on the members there's a circle, beside that it says 'remove', yet when I tested it today it didn't 'remove' it muted the member. What do we do if we want to boot the member out of the room? That didn't seem to show up as an option?

Thanks for all the work that you and Rokkerr put into the system, it's a great system, much better than anything else I've seen anywhere within the Adult network.

if you click on the chat bubble next to the person's name, it will mute them. If you click it again, it will unmute them. If you click on the "remove" button you will get a window that says "kick" or "ban". Then you choose.
The programming is about $100 an hour, if you want to pay for putting in the private chat feature, I can ask for a quote.

Working on a bunch of the other things you mentioned as we speak. I just found another bug, if the model changes her login name and leaves a space, it doesn't archive. Sorry but fixing things like that are much more important than you guys having private conversations that have nothing to do with the show. Maybe you should just use skype for that.
