CAM ISSUES - Feedback, Voting, Mobile!

At the beginning of Trisha's show this evening the server went down for just a moment, dropped everyone out of the room, including Trisha,I tried to get back in for two minutes, and kept coming up with the 503 Server not available failure message, then later in the show about the 41 minute mark all the user cams went off, one right after the other, then one came back one at a time, ans users started their camera's again. They said they didn't stop their camera's, they just got a message that their video feed had been terminated, without any error message. ?

Rune, banned from Cleo this evening at her request. after I banned him I lost control of the room, I could no longer type text to the 'all', only to individual members?

Room acting strange this evening, from server freeze at the beginning of Trisha's show, through the end of Cleo, members said their camera's came and went without their input, and at the end of cleo's after banning at her request a member, I no longer could talk to the 'all', room.

After the server crash this evening at the beginning of Trisha's show, we lost the alphabetical listing of the members, up until that time, they were listed as Walt noticed, but after the crash and restart of the server it's like we jumped back on part of the programming. The list was no longer alphabetical, but semed to be by when the member signed in, and if they signed out and came back again, they showed up at the end of the list. By the time Rune had pissed off Cleo to the point she asked me to boot him out, I had little to no control in the admin window, I was able to kick him out of the room, and then I found I cou;dn't save his IP, or even get back to talk to the entire room, I could whisper to Cleo, but the "ALL" j had dropped off the list of people I could select to talk to, I was unable to close the show by saying goodbye to anyone but Cleo,and then her by Whisper only.

Also after the server crash members who had camera's and video up dropped out one after another, all by themselves, only if the member logged out and in again could they get their video to display in the room again. IT's almost like an earlier version got reloaded after the server crashed.

Just a observation as a member after playing around with the login process.

As the choice is made for the video feed:
Log in - Go Live With Video - click Allow - get a box in the members' panel and members' cam comes on
Log in - Go Live With Video - click Deny - get a box in the members' panel but is black screen
Log in - Enter Without Video - no box in the members' panel

I think a lot of the guys think if they pick "Enter Without Video" means that they will not see anything. Maybe if the models tell the guys who do come up with a black screen to log out and log in but choose "Enter Without Video" so that there is no box. Cause Deauxma was trying to see all the cams of members who had them on last night and should could not because of the black screen boxes.

DrDave I'll find out what happened last night. Didn't know about it, would be nice if someone texts me when these things happen, I could have called webair immediately to find out why. Posting it in a forum, it could be a day or two before I even see it depending on what's going on...

Yeah i think that is exactly what is happening, they click "enter with video" thinking it means the model's video, then they freak when it asks permission for their own cam so they say no. Hence the camboxes being opened and not sending video.

OK so we need to change the wording to make it more clear?

Choice 2: Join Chatroom & turn on my cam

Is that more clear? Suggestions please?

I might suggest:
"1. Join Models cam show."
"2. Join Models cam show and turn on your cam."

To me , saying "Join chat" suggests a place without video.

ok next time you go into the camroom make sure you have ver 2.2
Refresh if you dont see ver2.2
we should have less and less blank boxes as it's more clear what each button does
made some internal code changes to remove empty boxes too (fingers crossed) but everyone will have to refresh for the new changes to take effect
also think the alphabetical order should be improved
the uppercase/lowercase was messing with it...

Thanks Vicky, I did get 2.2 when I last checked in, so it seem to be keeping up. One question, what happened to Kristii Maxx? I can't find a cancellation on any of the forums, yet she's off the schedule for this afternoon/evening?

Yeah i thought i fixed one thing but broke another, so I tried to fix it and broke EVERYTHING! lol..
what a nightmare, in a nutshell, I'm trying to replace the player so it will play .flv's and mp4's.... the old camroom generated flv's and the new camroom generates mp4's
so trying to find a player that will play both, or putting in code for 2 players that says if mp4 found use this player, if flv found use that player...
I had it working, but it wasn't compatible with the CDN, that means the vids were not coming from the cloud, they were coming from the server and would not be fast or redundant..... slower for europe, etc... so had to revert back and now nothing works, lol.. i'll figure it out tomorrow... also working furiously on Sunny's site and I still have bits and pieces outstanding for Tasha....

ok ver 2.3 is installed for moderators and models. In this version you can double click on a members video and move it around and resize it. Check it out and report back. If all goes well we will implement the same changes for the members side.
Members are currently at 2.2. Also on the members side, check that you see the new wording: PREVIEW MY CAM, Watch model with my cam ON, Watch model with my cam OFF. Clear your cache or reboot if you don't see this...

I Like the new system but the up coming shows needs to go or at least be able to x out. I cant read the full chat and need to close the members online. I did not have a chat window during brook's show at all. The video is great and sound on fire fox is good not chrome as I said I do like it, a few tweaks and it will be awesome appreciate the work put into it.
