and you have two versions regular and pro, my last machine had pro, I did like pro. Oh and they definitely do get a version and then add things that most people call bloatware, I was surprised on my new laptop Dell didn't massively put bloatware on here. Hope my suggestion works out for you Walt.

I guess now its my turn to have problems viewing the attachments. Last couple of times I have logged on where a picture should be it just says attachment and has a line of code but cannot view it. It has happened before but after a few days it starts working again.

I have that problem on occasion. After a day or so it clears up.

But I also have the same problem on Twitter, and I think on Facebook. So all that makes me think I've got a problem here. It's never been enough of an issue for me to look into, so I don't have any clues.

Does this happen to anyone else?

had it then I cleared the cache and cleared up. Haven't had it on my new laptop yet (knock on wood) but clearing the cache when it happened on the other seemed to help.

I might mention that, when clearing your cache, it seems like you might need to do each browser you use. I base this thought on the fact that, when I cleared my cache in Chrome, the icons in the cam room started working. But then I discovered that I was still getting the old ones in IE. So I cleared my Cache in IE, and then those icons started working.

OK, here's another one. I've seen this one numerous times before and mentioned it once or twice. Again, it's regarding the cam room icons.

I don't know how models enter link info for the New icons. But, fairly often, apparently some models don't enter info, because it doesn't change from show to show.

Yes, sometimes a model will enter her info. But, right now I am watching HotWife Rio's show, but the icons are all linked to Jamie Foster';s show. Jamie's show was 1 P.M. yesterday, meaning that there were 5 shows between Jamie's show and Rio's, meaning that there were 6 models who haven't entered their info (5 plus Rio.)

So, is there a different entrance link the models are using now? Maybe you can remind them to enter their info.

Maybe your programmers can enter some code that will clear those links when a model logs out..

Can everyone else please double check this when they are watching camshows? Every time I look i see the correct links during the shows. I am convinced this is only happening to Walt. There are scripts that run behind the scenes that are constantly checking which model is supposed to be live according to the schedule. So if a show gets deleted and replaced with a different show, the banner changes and the icons change. I think your computer is blocking the scripts from running so it stays on an old model's icons. PS Walt what happens if you refresh the page? Press f5 or better yet Shift F5.

Shift + F5 forces the web browser to ignore its cached contents and retrieve a fresh copy of the web page into the browser. Shift + F5 guarantees loading of latest contents of the web page.

I would really appreciate everyone else here on the forum double checking this though just to be sure? Please and thank you!

If all that’s true why does it sometimes show up correct? I’ll try clearing cache again, but, as I mentioned, I’ve done all that recently. We are off Friday and Saturday, so I can get to some cam shows then.

Vicky, you mentioned elsewhere that Spectrum detected a problem in your line, That's good, of course, though your show normally runs flawlessly.

But my question becomes, how about all of the other shows that don't come thru your house? I will continue collecting data for another week or two. One thought is, if some shows are alright, does that mean the problem is in the models line somewhere?

I would assume yeah if one model is fine then the next one is buffering and then the next one is fine?

Yes. But if you got the file I sent, you'll see that most were good up until last Thursday.
Shanda's show almost always has problems. Primarily she is usually answering questions that have long scrolled off my screen. Then, if I make a post, it can take anywhere from 15 seconds to well over a minute to show up. And others report the same thing. So there has to be something is Shanda's system.

The others, including Rio this morning, are generally "stuttering." Rio and Mandy yesterday, are/were generally about 15 - 20% broken. Still generally understandable.

I don't know what is going on, Vicky. I'm just reporting what I'm seeing, NOT saying that there is necessarily anything wrong with the VNA system. Could be, but I can't put a definite claim to it.

Rio's show got much worse in Chrome, but not too bad in IE. At one point there over a two minute delay between posting a comment and seeing it scroll up in Chrome. Toward the end, about 5 til, suddenly several pages of chat scrolled up. Then for the rest of the show it was much better.

Like I've said before, it's like pulling teeth to get people to reply when you ask a question. I think VNA members are good about replying, but everyone else doesn't seem to care about helping.

could be internet provider related. I also wonder if it could be browser related, the reason I'm pondering it, I've noticed sometimes the lag and buffering on stuff isn't as bad on one browser as it seems to be on another, I need to really do more investigating myself. It's just I'm getting good speed thru my ISP but, not only VNA related, but I get where a show has like not sure how to say it but like it drags then jumps ahead.

Okay, so I'm not an expert, just some ideas that came to my mind.
A way to find out whether you have problems with your bandwidth (and therefore with your provider) could be running an online speed test like testmy.net. These tests aren't super accurate and only good for testing the upload or download speed on websites (doesn't work well for zoom or Skype speeds) but it would be a good start to narrow down the problem.
If your download speed is bad, try switching to LAN (Internet via cable). If that works better, the problem is your wifi. Maybe your neighbors use the same channel or try switching between 2.4GHz and 5GHz. 2.4GHz is slower, but better if you're a bit away from your router. 5GHz is faster, but works best on short distances. Each of those problems can be easily resolved, so don't panic

I use speed tests all the time, Liz. They sometimes come back slower than they should, but not slow enough to be causing the problems. I DO know that this computer gives me grief. That's why I ask in the cam room. When several people tell me they're having the same problem, I know it's not me. The big problem is trying to get someone to answer me when I ask. There can be 10 - 15 people in the cam room, and no one will even answer. Only when there are a lot of VNA members there can I get a decent smattering of answers.

I've been at Vicky's show just a few minutes ago. I use mobile chat, but on my laptop (because my connection is super slow). Most of my texts weren't displayed. Had that problem in the past every now and then but today it took multiple tries for everything that I wrote. There wasn't a delay, they just disappeared and other times they appeared immediately?
