One of the many, many things that I love about Jelena is the fact that she is also an animal lover. Girl after my own heart so I thought we should have a thread in here dedicated to pets. I know there is probably a similar thread elsewhere on the VNA forums but you can never have too many cute animals!

I'll get the ball rolling with some pictures of mine. I re-homed two ferrets from a rescue centre just over 5 years ago now. Sadly one of them passed away last summer (their life span is usually 5-8 years) but the remaining one is still going strong. Like most pets they are a big responsibility and require lots of time and attention but they are really rewarding and provide hours of entertainment! Amazing little creatures.

Here are my kids. I rescued the squirrel and he no longer with me. Let him go once he was big enough. My two dogs, they're brother and sister.

Bridgit Rowan is a Border Collie/Mix that I rescued when she was just a wee puppy and now she is a 11 years young. Indy is an Australian Shepherd that is my genetic mishap (double merle). He is deaf, visual impairment, under bite, weird size, and psychotic. He is 8 years old.
