The closest bar I found to the convention center is about 3 miles away called Mullens Bar & Grill http://mullensbarandgrill.com/ and I sent them a message asking if they will be showing the fights there that night. There is a Tilted Kilt that is 6 miles away from the convention center (they normally show the fights) and Real Time Sports http://www.realtimesportsbar.com that is 8 miles away that show the fights as well. We have some options, just need to see how many people want to go for sure and pick a place. Once that's done, I'll call to make reservations so that we have a table

I received a reply back from Mullens asking if they are showing the fights and they are, so that could be the first choice since it's the closest. Let me know what y'all think

From looking at the menu, they have a variety of things to eat. Whether or not the food is good is another question though.

A few questions that I just thought about. 1) Carmen, what is your schedule going to be for Saturday? 2) Are we going to get to wherever we're planning to watch the fights early enough to watch the prelims? 3) Do we have a definite number of people that are going?

I think the convention ends around 9pm saturday. depending how busy it is, might leave a bit early. I will probably miss the prelims, but I am bringing my Ipad to watch the prelims. I have UFC fightpass. Also, Will need someone to get to the place before me to hold the table so we arent standing at the bar the whole time watching the fight.

Just looked & the hours are 1-10pm for the convention. Fight Pass will only have a few fights, the other prelims will be on Fox Sports 1 starting at 7pm. You can watch those using the Fox Sports Go App, then main card starts at 9. Next question is, where are we going to watch the fights and how many of us? If worse comes to worse, I know we can watch the fights with my teammates from the gym at a bar that's about 30 minutes from the convention center

We went to eat at a place tonite that's right across from the Conv center, right behind the Embassy Suites. Park Tavern. They have a nice menu and a bunch of TV's. Don't know if they'll have the fights on or not. I could go over there and ask tomorrow, if you want (Corey or Carmen.)

I don't mind going over early if you want. My friend Frank is here, so we could go hold a table depending on how many were gonna come over.
