Porn a public health crisis?

I was just reading an article on cnn saying the republican party was adding an amendment to its platform stating that internet pornography is a public health crisis. The CDC says it does not have an established position on pornography as a public health crisis and most experts studying this say it doesnt qualify. Looks to me like politicians ignoring facts to push their own self interests again. Just wondering what every one else thinks

Basically, it's just the Religious Right on a bender trying to get revenge for losing the same-sex marriage war. This whole thing started in Utah, where the same "Porn is a public nuisance/public health crisis" meme was amplified by some Mormon fundie Utah state senator....with some assistance from antiporn "feminist" Gail Dines. Apparently, it's now conquered the entire GOP due to the domination of the RR base.

How they can reconcile that with the many sexual peccadillos of Donald Trump and his associates is beyond me.

The only public health crisis I can see about porn is the attempts of hypocrites to play prudish in public while downloading the same stuff in droves in private.

Every time the Republican Convention comes to town, all the prostitutes work double shifts, prostitutes from nearby towns all travel to it, the swing clubs are packed, the strip clubs are packed etc.... ask anyone in any of those businesses.... the Republicans are horny fuckers and there is nothing wrong with that.
