Gift of Giving to Help A Cause for Julia Ann

As the holiday approaches and we all plan to spend our time and money buying gifts there are many that are dealing with family that have been dealt the horrible card of a severe medical condition. For those of us that know Julia Ann we know that her fur babies are just as much her family as her human relations are and she hurts when they are in pain. Recently her Cane Corso, Tarna, was diagnosed with megaesophagus. Megaesophagus, also known as ME, is a condition where the esophagus is enlarged decreasing the ability to move food and liquid from the throat to the stomach. This diagnosis requires life-long therapy and commitment and astronomical expenses, involving many vet visists, tests and medication. The cost of special arrangements for correct feeding to prevent aspiration pneumonia is vital to the life of Tarna. Tarna is currently fighting bronchitis and this could be a recurrent problem for her in relation to her diagnosis. Tarna has already had many serious surgeries from the moment she was a puppy and Julia like any mother (regardless of biology) makes every sacrifice to give her fur babies every chance of love and life without batting an eye.

So as a friend of Julia's I respectfully share this link to a gofundme that Jenna Foxx and I set up to help her as much as possible with some of the vet costs. I understand that there are a lot of gofundme accounts out there for others, but know that for every penny raised for Julia's vet costs, ALL of it goes to the vet bills. This is a woman with impeccable integrity and graciousness and she did not even know that Jenna and I had even done the gofundme for her because she did not want to burden anyone with Tarna's medical battle.
