During this show I used the term "scare-roused" as Sophia was showing us her biceps. I got this from a scene in Futurama.

These are two characters in Futurama who are making a cameo.

There were first introduced in the episode "Amazons In The Mood". Here is a collection of scenes dealing with "snu snu", which is their word for sex. Anyone recognize the voice of Femputer?

I also have the entire set. Unfortunately I didn't get to the store in time for the Bender head-in-a-jar version. I also am not sure if I have all the versions released with the funky clear plastic artwork over the robust boxes. I have a complete set of the ones produced after they switched to the "green" packaging, which sucks for longevity.

Do you also listen to the commentary soundtracks? They are fantastic for Futurama! I love it when a show's staff are as funny as their characters, and the shows producers value the DVDs they put out enough to have a commentary track for every episode. Seth McFarland and Alex Borstein are fun to listen to, but the Family Guy releases gradually provided fewer and fewer commentary tracks. Seth Green and his crew are also funny, and Robot Chicken had a commentary track for every episode at the time I stopped buying them (because my local Barnes and Noble stopped carrying them). The voice actors, producers, and writers for Futurama all participated in the commentaries, and the only person that seemed uncomfortable and non-spontaneous was Tress McNeil (Mom, Doctor Cahill and others, as well as Dot Warner and Hello Nurse). She only appeared maybe once or twice, and I guess it just wasn't her thing.

Which is fine until OnlyFans suddenly shuts down (or gets shut down) one day. It seems like a website (or better yet a family of websites) would be an effective way to have backups of all their content.

That would require having foresight.....

As it is over half the girls just stopped updating their websites because they want to keep the content exclusive on only fans...... In some ways I don't blame them, as soon as we put content on our website pretty much the next day the tube sites have stolen it....... Sometimes I really hate this business.. I have DMCA people on payroll full time....... Website sales are way down, but payroll is fixed........ You see where this is heading.....

But doesn't OF only typically have about 2% of the content that a model might have on an actual website?

No most of our models have cannibalized their entire websites going years back (including me) and put all on onlyfans in addition to everything they have shot since they stopped updating their websites. The difference is you have to pay for every video or photoset individually.

Are any of the new videos and photo sets on OnlyFans showing up on the tube sites? If not, finding out why not would be good.

From a security point of view, what about watermarking each download? Then when they show up on the tube sites, you have some indication of where the leaks are.

I once thought that a possible solution to IP problems (music, film, what-have-you) would be to put out just enough to give people a feel for what the work is like, and then post a price tag requirement for it to be released into the public domain. Maybe have different contribution levels with different rewards for the higher contributions. Then, if/when the price is met, release the whole thing and don't worry about how many copies get made. There are issues, but it might be worth trying. Unfortunately, this particular industry probably doesn't lend itself to delayed gratification business models.

I attended a concert live stream during covid where they added a code so they were able to track people who took screen records and uploaded them on YouTube, it was very easy to bypass that.
When there's a way to bypass restrictions, people will find and use it.
And when you don't reach the funding goal, maybe because it's niche content, you don't publish it and all the work was in vain. And the last bit of variety would be gone.
Despite predictions back then, streaming didn't kill the music industry, it's the same with porn, it will stay around, even when the ways it's distributed may change.

What Eric said wouldn't work anyways because you can't do crowd funding for porn. I once did a fundraising thing for a dog shelter and after reaching $5000, they shut it down and actually refunded everybody's money because somehow they found out what I do for a living. It was on gofundme and the credit cards were processed by wepay.

Fans sites don't give an option to download the pictures and videos like websites do. That makes it more difficult for users to pirate video to upload it to tube sites. IIRC Vicky does watermark her videos on the VNA website to make the takedown requests easier.

Thanks DaveST! I was still wondering why OnlyFans videos weren't being pirated. You answered the question. I know Vicky doesn't allow downloading of the cam shows for similar reasons. Glad to hear she is already watermarking the videos, too.

And Vicky has a point about the financing. I had forgotten about the bias in the existing banking system. So that's two problems to tackle in trying to make a go of a new business model. Bummer.

I've had some bad news, my mother caught pneumonia in the hospital and almost died from it. She was put on a ventilator.

Instead of going to Miami for xbiz we are going to Canada instead. I thought I was going to be able to do a camshow on Sunday but there is just too much going on and it's mother's day, we have to spend the day with Dave's mom and believe it or not I'm getting g up at 7 to finish my remaining customs so I can go to canada with a clear conscience.
