It's homeopathic, a girlfriend told me about it this morning. It helped me get through the day today because I had a lot to do!

I'm now in bed with a hot bowl of oatmeal....comfort food.

Perhaps they should come with a Government Health Warning?
But lots of people mixing in confined spaces (especially if they come from lots of different places) is a great environment for viruses to breed and spread. No way round it really.
Hope everyone gets better soon - but don't let the little so and sos (viruses) win. Keep going to them and have fun!

Also, whenever I am going to be around a lot of people, I religiously take Airborne. I do this at every Exxxotica and I have never gotten sick.

First to Maggie - Is Airborne the Australian rock band - LOL
Second to Vicky - Did you hear about the Homeopath that committed suicide by forgetting to take his medicine? (its a doc's joke - DrDave can explain).

I have not seen that before Vicky - but its brilliant. Spot on with regards to Complimentary medicine. Yes I'm a cynic.
The joke about the homeopath refers to the idea that homeopathy works due to the molecular memory of the water - which is rubbish I'm afraid.
Sorry if I'm obtuse .

So mine turned into something worse, hence why I had to reschedule Monday's live show to next week. I was just getting worse and worse, even though I was taking really good care of myself. Ended up having to go to urgent care Sunday morning. I'm on a super heavy dose of antibiotics because I have a really bad sinus infection that has also traveled to my chest. I can't remember the last time I was this sick...it's definitely been years. Yesterday was the first time I walked out my front door since I got back from urgent care. Just horrible. I've improved a little but not even close to being in the clear. So just a head's up, there's a chance I might not make next week's show. Hoping I'm better by then though!

Damn that's rough, sorry to hear that Jelena. I hope things are improving for you.

I guess I got lucky and caught the milder strain, I only had to miss one day of work (I wouldn't say I really missed it either).

I got sick in November and it took me most of the month to get thru it. Sure hope your recovery is quicker, Jelena. I'n still fighting the end of the cold I got in Vegas. Doctor wouldn't give me shots today (flu, pneumonia) because I still have a slight fever (99.2) and a little coughing.

Get well soon, Sweet Jelena and hope to see you on cam soon. XO

Sorry to hear that Jelena - sinus problems are often really painful. Hope it gets well soon. If you want something that's relatively non-chemical but helps things clear go to the pharmacy and ask them for saline sinus washouts - there are several sprays that help clear out all the mucus and muck. They work well and can be used if you think a problem is starting.

Ladies (and gents) this may help - with thanks to Private Eye magazine :-

"People are so weird about sperm" Tracy Kiss told reporters at her home in Buckinghamshire, "when in fact a teaspoon is filled with amazing goodness. I'm a Vegan, and my personal trainer told me that sperm contains lots of vitamins and minerals, including B12, which Vegans lack in their diet. I'd been feeling run down and had no energy, but now I'm full of beans and my mood has improved
"I start every morning with a smoothie, with bananas, seeds, and almond milk, and a teaspoon of sperm which I harvest from my best friend. He brings it round two or three times a week, and I store it in tubs in the fridge, with the rest of my groceries. It can taste really good, depending on what my friend has been eating. Every batch tastes different. If he's been drinking alcohol, or eating something particularly pungent like asparagus, I ask him to give me a heads up, so I know not to drink it neat. Things like pineapple and peppermint make it taste better, but usually I'll happily take it straight off a spoon. My other mates think I'm strange, but I don't give a toss (LOL). As a single mother,I'd advise others to ingest semen regularly if they want to avoid a winter cold."

Happy to help ladies!
