Flash Issues

OK i finally got this nice popup written in javascript so it won't be blocked by pop up blockers in the browsers. It detects if the person's flash is either not installed or not enabled and presents you with all the necessary links.

I have been getting about 5 emails a day from members saying the cam room is broken, because they just get a black screen. This should fix it! Cool huh?

Yes, cool, lol. I mention that on occasion in the cam room when someone mentions troubles. Problem is, if they're in the cam room, their Flash is OK. I also mention their cache, tho, and rebooting their modem.

One problem (?) It says, "...copy and paste the following link...." Problem is, there is no "following" link. Did you mean the link just mentioned previously? If so, maybe you just want to remove the word "following."

They can be like me Walt and argue with Vicky that I don't have flash!!! lol Just have to look in the right place to see if it is enabled. I am slowly learning.

You don't see the Adobe Flash link? In orange text? If u get this message in the cam room all u would need to do is click on it.

Is there a reason I cannot watch old archives? Tried to watch my 1st. show and I get a back box.....do I need to update something?

I'm having problems, too, but I think my problems are related to my browsers. What was the date of your first show? When I try to "order videos by star" that isn't working for me either.

Last Aug. Oh crap... I have no clue what the actual air date was. I cant watch ANY from archive 1. I have tried a few different ones today. Archives 2 works fine.

I can watch Archive 1 as it shows up upon log-in. But, like I said, if I try to reorder, that won't ok.

I've been having a lot of trouble with my two browsers lately, Chrome and IE. Not sure where the problem is, but still working on it.

Just "enable" your flash again.... your browser turned it off again. If you get a black screen, enable flash.

Wasn't your browser was our mistake when we moved Archives1 from vettenationlive.com to vnalive.com we forgot to change a link. Thanks for letting me know! I just fixed it!

At least when it happened to me, I realized the problem was at my end and had it about two-thirds diagnosed and half fixed. I just didn't realize that flash could be only partially or selectively enabled. I am so grateful for the quick and knowledgeable response. Once again, Vicky proves this to be one of the best communities on the Internet.

I am using Windows and Abode has changed how u download flash. It know ask u what operating system r u using and what browser. There is a different flash download for each browser. Just letting people know.

Yeah but it's getting harder and harder.... everyone keeps on getting the black screens. The browsers are turning flash off every time there is a browser update or any chance it gets. A lot of people don't understand what is happening and they just assume the cam system is broken and they leave.

I just don't understand how they can be phasing something out when there is no viable alternative yet.

Yeah lots of people have tried that, they put always allow, but it still seems to reset itself to off somehow by itself.... happened to Daisy last night again, she texted me after midnight!
