I'm not one of those Hallmark card. "feel good" platitude types (because I've seen enough and been around long enough to know better), but the world can be kind of a shithole if you don't occasionally find some positive things to dwell on. So here's a place to talk up some of the good things that have happened to you today/recently. If you think this is lame, I get it. But those who want to look on the bright side for a moment can do so here.
I just found out my two-and-a-half day weekend is going to be a three day one after all! I was supposed to work my second job from 5 to 10 tonight, but got a text message from my boss ten minutes ago that said my shift is covered and I can have the night off if I want! So a Monica Milf cam show, some beers and good food with friends, and an evening and another whole day of doing whatever the fuck else I want are in my immediate future. And this is one of those rare weeks when I can afford to lose a few hours without going totally broke. So win-win.
