Need your help testing - SSL

I am going to be switching all the websites to https, instead of http. It's a massive undertaking, bigger than I originally thought. We already have the camsystem https, you may notice, if you just type in vnalive.com or vettenationlive.com it automatically sends you to the secure site.

So I"m going to expand on that, doing vnalive.com, so that means the forum and the camshow archives1 and archives2.

Here is what I need you guys to do, cruise around the forum, but manually change the url at the top to https
Let me know of any errors or warnings you get.

Then go to archives1 - change the url to https - cruise around - let me know of any errors or warnings
Then go to archives2 - change the url to https - cruise around - let me know of any errors or warnings

I think i got most of the bugs worked out, just more eyes on it are better !

Once that is working we will do vnagirls.com, then sarajay.com, vickyathome.com etc.....

I've been cruising the forum without a hitch. When I logged in to post this, Firefox didn't throw the previous warning about http vs https. Have to work on dinner before I can archive test.

In IE, forum working fine on my laptop, Archives 1 and 2 working fine using https.

With Google, Forum and Archives 2 work fine. In Archives 1 I get "No compatible source was found for this video." I made sure Flash was enabled.

Going to Firefox.

Firefox not working here, but I think the problem is FF. My laptop did an update, then FF did an update. The FF update opened a page which told how much faster FF would be. And now it's slower than Christmas.Takes 30 seconds or more to load a page. But prior to that, I was getting an error message for Archive 1. For Archive 2, I was getting the play button but nothing would happen when I would click it.

Like I said, I'm going with problems here on FF.

Most of the warnings about the girls banners should be gone already... making the entire cdn https is going to take at least a week according to webair, but it's just a warning, as long as the videos still play that's most important.

Just finished looking at both archives, without a hitch. I'm using Firefox, Win 10, haven't tried any other browser. Not sure what your problem may be, Walt.

Yeah I figured that was a minor issue.

Folks, please give Vicky lots of info to help her. There are a lot of platforms and media out there that she hassles with. Even I need to give more info when I report something.

Try to remember, folks, test it on all browsers you have installed. Report each one, plus what your OS is, If you test your phone, is it Apple or Android? With all due respect to George, (a very helpful dude,) and others, try to give all the info you can. Just saying "It works for me" doesn't help much in todays day and age. I need to get better myself.

I try to keep my la[top pretty well tuned up, but it obviously needs more work. I realize that just because something works on IE and not on Chrome doesn't mean that the problem is here. But, considering all that is going on, I have to think that in my case, it's all here.

Viper, which problem do you mean? I got a million of 'em.

I think my biggest problem here is my laptop. I think it's time I bought a new one. I was just reminded by my friendly credit card company that I've got a million $$$ of credit line that I ain't using. (Gee, thanks, guys.)

So I think I'm gonna start looking. I do know that it won't be a Dell, lol

All clear from me for everything here: using Google Chrome latest using Win10, no defects.

Now testing from MS Edge...Same as Walt: Forum and Archives 2/MP4s working perfectly; but Archives 1/FLVs get "Unsupported Source" errors and X screens on individual video pages.

Windows 7 64-bit and Android 5.0 mobile device, Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Tested with Firefox and Chrome browsers

Archive 1, as stated on the front page, is not supported for mobile devices so no surprises for that not working on the phone.

Archives 1/FLVs get "Unsupported Source" errors and X screens on individual video pages.

for Chrome, go to settings > advanced > privacy and security > content settings > flash > allow

add https://www.vnalive.com to flash allow list

Google Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit) doesn't have "Allow." It only has "Ask First." And when I click the link, nothing "asks" me. And the site has all ready been added to the "Allow" list, couple months ago. Still doesn't work.

Did you guys see the nice youtube video I added to the old flv archives page? Video instructions on how to allow flash on chrome! Got so tired of all the emails....

Anyway I did find one big bug... now the forum plugins in the left sidebar of all the sites stopped working.... grrrr..... always something, hopefully it's an easy fix.

It went pretty smoothly! A few glitches for a day or two then all resolved nicely. And now as a result, all the members of the VNA LIve models can have access to the forum and the camarchives. I have sent it to all of them, just waiting for them all the put the links inside their members areas.

So the entire cam system, archives, cms and vnagirls.com is now https (secure). When I get back from iceland, I will work on all the sites one by one, making them all https, so you will not get the warnings in your browser when you log in.
