Be alert, y'allz...spammers in our midsts!!!

Well...I see that someone is using multiple ID's to post spam links to the forum; and one of them may in fact be malware, too.

I used my still active mod powers to disapprove of two of them, but then I thought that that would be invading Walt's territory, since he's a much more active mod here than I have been of late. So, I've merely reported the other posts.

If you ask me, after a certain amount of spamming, you should be warned first, then if it keeps up, you get run from the board and your membership canned. But, that's only me; I'll defer to Vicky, Rokkerr, and Walt on this one.

Vicky is aware of the spammers... the posts are only viewable to moderators... she tracks the IDS, locates how they got into the forum and upgrades security network wide to shut them down..

Unless you are a moderator you can't see the posts as far as I know..

Please do not delete the spam posts, if you do I can't track the ips to figure out where they are coming from. Thought I had this problem licked already, but every time Webair changes something, they find a way back in. I'm on it like white on rice!

They appear on the discussion widget on the main page but clicking the links takes you to a blank page.
