facebook honestly kind of scares me. I've known people who've worked at facebook. They said, their boss was a strange guy. He just is disconnected from the rest of reality. People say Elon Musk is an evil genius from a 60's comic book. But my vote is Zuckerberg. He probably actually wants to be Lex Luther.

I deleted all my Facebook (and Instagram and Twitter) stuff last week, stopping short of deleting the accounts.

Debating getting rid of social media all together, but I enjoy memes too much.

I think it's best just to use really secure browsers with social media. like ToR. It's the most secure. Always add privacy badger as an extension on chrome. Only used duckduckgo as your search engine. just be careful with what you share. only used an alias on social media. i think social media is a fad right now. give it time. with all the spyware and evil stuff going on people will get tired of it. these companies are just getting too greedy. it's like you already are worth billions. just knock it off.

No matter what you do to protect your data, or yourself, for that matter, there's always some asshole out there who is working hard on stealing what you got. What a shame, if these folks are so good, that we can't convince them to use those efforts for good.
