I've totally just blew 4 hours silently lurking the forums... I even read a few dead threads. But I didn't want to be so creepy that, I was bringing threads back from the dead. All we need are zombies creeping up the place. I mean who wants zombie dick? No one. Poor zombies and their detectable dicks.

I decided I would post something because well, I've mostly been creepy. But I do like tying people up? So, that may make me the biggest creep around here?

i need to tidy my apartment for an inspection. the management is inspecting all the units for apartment stuff. haha.... I still have my other bed to list on craigslists. It's barely a year old and has barely been slept on. I just needed a bigger bed. life wasn't cutting it on a queen. especially when you are a crazy dog lady. haha....

i hope to get my booty to the neighborhood farmers market. last weekend they had amazing concord grapes. i made a grape pie. It's funny, ive had pie everyday this week and i'm dropping the 8 pounds i put on over the year. haha...

My weekend will be spent organizing for my trip to Tampa. Washing clothes, packing, etc. I've got some electronic gear I take along: computer, camera, GPS and Car Cam, (I take my own GPS, not paying the rental company their outrageous prices,) and assorted cables and chargers, etc. Then, in the evening, maybe fantasizing about, my favorite bondage model?

I think grape pie is a Great Lakes and Slovakian thing. I've slowly learned in my life, what I thought was normal food most people didn't eat growing up. It took me until like 8 years ago, to learn not everyone eats chicken paprikash. I thought it was normal american food for most of my life. haha.... grape pie I can see sounding strange. But is so good!

I take my own GPS too. I think rental companies bank on convenience. a little planning and you save yourself $9.99/ day. Which after a week can be a fair chunk of change to enjoy some porn. haha... that's priorities. My own priorities.

I do flex dieting. Just enjoy everything I always do, just keep it to a small slice. Like a half slice. I cannot do restrictive diets. I just die a little bit inside. I like food too much. Haha.... i need to eat. I'm not doing an keto over here anytime soon.

Sure they do. Charging something like $25/day for insurance coverage - which most people don't need. I don't know all insurance companies, but at least numerous of them, under full coverage, cover your rental car. But the rental companies try to make it sound like you will be hung out to dry if you don't take their coverage.

GPS. It took me a while to get into GPS. I remember thinking, "Hmmm, let's see, GPS - $150. Paper map - $5. Hmmmm, let me think this over." Then finally, on a trip to LA, I decided to invest. Gee, ole Walt actually made an intelligent decision. Just enter an address and it tells you where to go (much like an ex-wife, LOL.) The one I have now is large screen, and will even pop up a picture of the exit, including the large overhead destination sign. That gets very helpful when you have a left exit, or a right exit and then a left exit from that (a 2 in 1 exit, lol.)

Saw a cartoon once. A travel agent had a difficult customer. Maps and paperwork were scattered everywhere, the agents hair was mussed and he was obviously pretty flustered. The caption read, "Why don't you just go to Hell?"

Yeah, I don't know if I have a fear of getting lost or what, but I sit down before a trip and lay the whole thing out. I've all ready been to Google Earth and laid out all the events in Tampa, and studied the routes. I love just getting in the car and taking off, as if I actually knew where the hell I was going. As soon as I get into my rental at the Tampa airport, I'll take out my GPS and hook it up.

But we don't need GPS anymore. The phones are fantastic and updated continuously. I use the Waze app. It's the best. Tells you where all the red light cameras are and where the police are lurking. Also shows traffic accidents and heavy congestion and rerouted you. The GPS doesn't do that!

GSP I find useful in other countries or places where my wifi from my phone maybe spotty. I always take a back up. I know around Glacier National Park and Montana, it can be pretty spotty. But for places like Tampa Waze is totally the way to go. living in LA waze saves me daily. Even if I kind hate it because it's increased traffic on my little side street. People wheel through at 50 miles when there are people on birds, bikes and walking dogs everywhere. It's like you need to go slow through this little beach community. It's not a great place to cut through. Probably would extend you time because it's so sleepy and slow paced. Like we block out the outside world here and we are about the sun and fun!

I agree with car rental in most cases even your credit card company will cover it. I know mind will internationally, just not domestically. I find that a peak because I do not think my car insurance extends to international car rental.

I can't use my phone when I'm driving. I have a windshield mount, but it's big, cumbersome bugger. And the audio announcements aren't loud enough for me to hear them. (It's illegal to wear headphones when you're driving.) My GPS (large, about 7" x 4.5" or so.)

My GPS gives me traffic alerts with Voice. Also Red light cameras and school zones, upcoming sharp curves, It links with my phone and allows me to make and receive hands-free phone calls. Lots of other stuff. It's a good unit.

That's what I do since I have diabetes, it just watching my intake.

I think it's best. otherwise you will deny yourself all the time and then binge on like 3 slices at once. It's less mental stress to have a little dessert at night. I'm not a fan of all this cheat day nonsense. I think people binge on what they have been craving all week and blow it all in 24 hours. That would just not work for me. I tried it. balanced just works better. Most of the time my desserts are things like peaches and cream. I only bake a pie once in a while. I enjoy little slices while i have it. I just believe life should be enjoyed and not riddled with mental torment.

I am generally pretty good. I eat more salads than I used to, but its still only 2 or maybe 3 a week. I still eat a lot of frozen crap, because I just don't cook much any more. And, on rare occasion, I'll give in and get a pie.

Now what the hell do I need a PIE for? I have to eat it quick before it goes bad, so sometimes I'm eating 2 slices in a day. And, I'm cutting it into 6ths, so that's a lot of pie in a day.

But, OMG, it tastes so goooooodddddd, LOL

Oh my goodness so true! I'm much the same. Only difference is I do drink the occasional wine, sherry, brandy or sweet vermouth. But I hate being drunk. I embarrassed myself too many times back in the day. It's like, I kind of need a vice. I can't be too good. I don't want to be like Jim Fixx passing away young while, Keith Richards is kicking around in his 70's and almost died from heroin 10 times. So, I pick sweets at my vice. I guess sex. Even if I don't consider sex a possible vice. haha....
