Arne Renouf, not sure if it's better than my regular name or not lol. Andrew, I think you meant to use Vidar instead of Auslaug.

Solveig Bluetooth? Bluetooth? What the hell is that?
Wait... Bluetooth was named after a tenth-century king, Harald Bluetooth, King of Denmark and Norway. (Also known as Harald Bluetooth Gormson or Harald I of Denmark) Bluetooth is an anglicized version of Harald Blaatand, who was known for his unification of previously warring tribes from Denmark (including now Swedish Scania). How cool is that?

ok yuck...
The exact origin of the nickname is up for debate, but many scholars believe that King Harald became known as Bluetooth because he had a conspicuous dead tooth that literally looked blue.

Come to the VNA to learn about history! Not just sex! lol..

That would make me Magnus Bjornsson....sounds like one of the Transformer Autobots.

BTW....why is "Wartooth" listed twice as a Viking last name? Were they that warlike?

And considering how you and the VNA is dominating the porn Internet, "Bluetooth" is certainly fitting for a Viking Sex Warrior Queen.

There's an interesting story on Bluetooth of the possibilities how he got his name. Wartooth probably could have been warriors but then again sometimes things were a smoke screen in Viking names

Norman=Norse Men or the North Men, France hired and invited the Vikings to inhibit the area of Normandy, just as the Romans used barbaric tribes as protection and soldiers. It's interesting that this is what is used for England to gain control of that area of France years later till France could expel the English

That's interesting - because the Normans by 1066 (William the Conqueror et al) were different from the Vikings. Harold would probably have won at Hastings if he had not just been up North fighting the invading Vikings at Stamford Bridge ( not where Hazard and Pedro play)! I know the "Vikings" were around for a long time, but the Normans did seem (at least to me) to be a different race - but as a Celt I didn't like either of them!

My ancestors came mainly from Scotland, also a particular tribe of Celts, I was telling a girl from England about my ancestors and she said oh yes the Romans built that to keep your ancestors out.

I'm a big history buff. But yeah that's why Normandy and the people were called Normans. Also not all Vikings were the same, each came from different regions and tribes so you would get different ones in areas. Like the Turks hired the Vikings from Russia as guards.
