So, right now in my neighborhood. We no joke have a Swat Team gathering. I know no details since, they tend to not broadcast much. I have been trapped in my home for the past 90 minutes. I am unsure if this will effect my cam show. My whole neighborhood they are redirecting traffic and telling everyone to stay home. Listen to commands. I had to lock my doors and shut my windows. As they advised. If it's where I think it is. They are armed. But a lot of people are armed. It's quiet other then the police. Kind creepy not having street noise and not hearing the regular sounds of the neighborhood this time of day.

So, hopefully whoever they are trying to get.... they get soon. I know my show is 4 hours from now. But when I was 17 my Mother sold a scanner to a man in our neighborhood. He was caught counterfeiting. He was loaded with firearms in his house. The stand off lasted a whole day. The FBI had our neighborhood blocked off. We had to hunker down. It's was crazy! Especially, considering most of our neighbors were professionals. We were harboring a white collar criminal.

But I will give updates. I just heard them shout on a bull horn to the neighborhood. Basically about hamper police business and to get inside.

Thanks Mike! It should be fine. It appears to be a house 1 down. So, I think they are locking down this side of the street. I live in a neighborhood that has a network of alley's. Basically, everyone parks their cars in their garages off the alley. No one has a front facing drive way. Basically, all the ugly unsightly stuff, it's keep alley side. Which I love from a cosmetic POV. But the downfall is, the criminal element can use their to their advantage. Have a back way out. But they appear to be surrounding from all sides of the property. I'm staying away from the windows... as they advised.

What's funny, while I do not live in LA proper but a town near by. I noticed when people steal cars down in LA, they actually drive up into my neighborhood to use the alley's a network to loose police. I had no idea, when I moved to this area they did this. It's interesting to me how the criminals know to scout different areas and to get out of LA ASAP. But they use the network of winding roads, to slow the police.

While this has nothing to do with the Swat. It's still weird this happens.

It's nice having the "spare time" to chat here. I don't believe in spare time. because honestly.... all we have is time. We make time for things.

But I think it's a good sign, the cam show will still be going. I am going to get the room ready. Get my make up on.

So, there is no helicopter. Which I felt like I was hearing that forever. It's so loud. So, I'm hoping it's over. The main reason, I was concerned was the helicopter noise. It was right overhead. i'm not hearing anything else. Looking outside, it seems like the street is still closed off. I will update everyone, as I know. But if it continues to be quiet. I'm doing my show.

Haha.... my neighborhood growing up was a typical neighborhood. Working professionals and families. But the swat guy, he was the odd ball. While he had a descent career in corporate sales, had a nice home and a wife. Overtime he became a really intense Y2K is end of the world type. While, I think it is important to have items on hand in case of emergencies, this guy was next level. It's why the stand off was slightly intense. He was difficult to extract because he had a panic room built. The funny thing was, he told neighbors? For being paranoid, I recall him being too free with information. I swear it was a bragging point.

I do not know a lot of details, of this case. How he ended up in trouble is fascinating. So, a friend of mine at the time worked at a store similar to a dollar store. This guy used a counterfeit $50 bill. It wasn't that great of a counterfeit bill when you looked at it, up close it was obvious. But who really examines bills? It felt right. Well, it was noticed when they counted the draw. The store was on the look out for counterfeit money. This guy comes back to the store only days later. It was then, they figured out who it was. That's when the police were brought in. Again, he used a $50.

When I heard this, I was shocked. Who would not only spend the counterfeit money, in their own hometown? But a store they go to regularly? It's funny because this man was actually very intelligent. But his blinders. Massive blinders. But I remember him being really into Timothy Mcveigh. He would criticize Mcveigh's obvious mistakes. This guy made the most obvious and ridiculous mistake. I'm kind of curious what else was found in the house? As neighbors had an idea. Lot's of bizarre rumors came out. I think none of the rumors had anything to back them up. It's one of those he seemed perfectly normal in 75% of cases. But when the government, Y2K or the New World Order.... watch out. In general people just avoided certain topics. His knowledge on astronomy, was respectable and amazing.

I actually think his counterfeiting was the start of something bigger. He was a bit of a thrill seeker type. He would do general thrill seeking to get a rush. Like scuba diving in underwater caves in Mexico. He did motorcycle camping trips in Central America. I think that stuff, made him bored. Since, it was always a bigger risk hobby. Counterfeiting was the new hobby. Some people collect stamps and other take risks.

Haha.... so that's kind of the weird background of that story.

Funny ( ?? Ironic) that you said he talked about McVeigh a lot & how he had made mistakes. I have a Masters Degree in History & enjoy researching various topics. T McVeigh is one of the people i have researched. Being retired allows me time to do such things.
McVeigh didn't make mistakes, because of his military background he planned and executed the bombing as if it was a mission given to him to carry out. From start to finish it all went according to his plan. He wanted to be caught so that he could finish the mission, which was being given the death penalty in a Federal Court.
I will not continue on this because it would be too long, but I wonder if your neighborhood counterfeiter was maybe portraying himself to others as more than he really is, so he got caught up in something he could not get out.
Hope you are over all of that unwanted action, it falls in that category of things you can't control. I still enjoyed seeing you & hearing you talk about daily life. No pretenses or unauthentic things with you makes you even more attractive to me. Being "hot" or "sexy" is way more than physical characteristics, you get that.

Haha... you caught onto my neighbor. I think the guy was a sociopath. Haha..... it was all about image with him. He had the conman, greasy salesman vibe about him. Liked appearing a certain way on the outside. His opinions on McVeigh were way off. Oddly, for a history class in college I did a research on McVeigh. I choose the project because I wanted to see for myself how ridiculous my neighbor was.

I think it's great you explore history. I also, enjoy doing much the same. I am currently wading back into the Roman period. because I noticed my personal blinders, I had toward the culture. Most of my personal research comes from high school and college. So, my knowledge lacks a level of depth.

Thank you Cap! I'm glad you enjoy my more analytical prospective. I tend to keep a lid on it. I'm not sure how sexy it is? I know, bimbo fantasies can be ruined. But I make up for it because I have blinders. haha....
