Has anyone here who has seen the Motley Crue movie "The Dirt" on Netflix, also read the book?

Saw it and I have to say.. the acting was shit and half of it was fiction. Love the music. I lived the 80s and Crue. It was a gloss over. My 2 cents.

Was mildly entertaining though?

Bohemian Rhapsody was sooooo much better!

I've heard so much about "Bohemian Rhapsody" I just have to see it. I recently watched a side by side comparison of original footage of the 1985 Live Aid/Wembley performance with the recreation for the film and it was remarkable how accurately they re created every detail.

I saw the movie, & somehow I loved it... even though the Hair-Metall music from the 80 isn't my style ..lol.
I remember that Sunny was involved in this story, somehow. Because she often talked about them when she was at the BunnyRanch... :drinker: :icon_jiggle:
& I remember that they often stole her from us when they were at the Bunny Ranch, when she should have a show with us...lol... :catfight: that was 8-9 years ago... :walt:

You can find a pic or two of Sunny with Vince Neil at the charity golf tournament that he used to have in Malibu...

Ha Ha... believe it or not I was already in the states watching on my telly like everyone else...
Makes you wonder if it was possible in 1985 whey there isn't a yearly LiveAid for a world cause every year...

I was the young age of 16 when that happened.. remember it well.. One big deal I remember was Phil Collins performing at Wembley Stadium then jetting over the big pond and performing in Philadelphia after.

The Dirt was so poorly acted and no one looked much like the guys in the band that I thought it was the greatest thing ever on TV!

I got 15 minutes into it and called a couple friends and told stop whatever they are doing and watch this movie.

Great recreation of that time though. I love 80s hair metal and went to tons of concerts during the 80s while I was in high school. Saw Crue twice. Great shows.

I'd like to go to the big concert this summer with them and others but then I think, I saw all these bands in their prime....for a lot less lol
...and she said " Let's go for it, the rooms already paid for!"

I couldn't agree with you more.... having spent time in person with some of the members of Motley Crue, I can tell you that half the stuff was fictional

Poor acting and soap opera approach to something that could have been epic

Now those would have been guys I'd want to hang out with.

I think the bad acting is what made it so great. The Ozzy was epic.

I might have to watch that tonight
