Ps how do u know if it's an alligator or a crocodile?

Answer: if it says "see you later" then it's an alligator.... If it says "in a while" then it's a crocodile. Haha Haha.... Yes I'm tired and silly..... It's a long drive from Miami to Tampa!

I grew up in south florida. We lived on a canal. Saw alligators in it quite a bit They would get into the canal systems from the everglades. When I was about 13 or 14 I opened the sliding glass door to go in the back yard and half way out the door realized I was about to step on a 14 foot gator who was sunning himself on the patio. We called the police. they came out and looked at it and said nope. They called animal control who came out and looked at it and said nope. They called someone from the seminole tribe. a couple of hours later 2 guys showed up, threw a rope around its jaws, picked it up and threw it in the back of their pickup and took it back to the everglades. After that we put up a fence. After that we learned alligators can climb chain link fences.

That must have been about 1976 or 1977. Its been a while lol. Back in the days when you had to actually have a video camera to film something so most things like that were never caught on film unlike today. Just google alligator climbing fence and you can find plenty of videos now. they just put their legs thru the links and pull themselves up and then drop down the other side. Always read about people who find an alligator in their pools, but after we put a pool in I dont remember one in the yard again.

Then on the other hand, no state taxes, low cost of living, beautiful beaches, perfect weather (excluding july/august). Very little traffic, no smog...... Weigh it out....
