I'm really aggravated - more cancelations

So as you guys know, when Britney Andrews was in town for FetCon we were supposed to shoot a full day together and do a camshow. It was planned about 2 months in advance and reconfirmed several times. The day before our shoot she tells me she totally forgot to go get a test.

Last friday night I was supposed to shoot and then cam with Reagan Lush, she canceled because her car broke down and a bunch of other things went wrong at the same time and she just couldn't make it.

Today, Cascus was supposed to be here for dinner, sleep overnight and shoot all day tomorrow, and finish with a GG camshow. (I offered her to stay here because it's a long drive.) This morning, she texted and said she had a dinner appointment but would be here by 8. Then later she texted again and said got her period and had to cancel our shoot.

Yesterday I cleaned the guest room, put fresh sheets, Dave cleaned the guest bath. We gave our employee the day off tomorrow so we would have the house to shoot. I rescheduled my workout partner from tomorrow till thursday. I made a hair appointment for 9:00 tomorrow morning. Last thursday Dave and I busted our balls getting to the testing place before 4 pm, so that we would have our tests back in plenty of time to shoot. We paid almost $400 for testing.

I'm just so aggravated I want to scream!!!!!

It doesn't seem to make a difference if you are paying them cash or doing a content trade.

I can definitely understand the frustration of the rant.. especially with all the time and money involved in preparation.. you had more than just someone's word to make this happen

I feel bad enough when I have to cancel on my friends for game nights, but it's another thing entirely when it is a professional relationship. When someone has to cancel something at work I try to be understanding. When it happens over and over, I avoid working with them because their cancellations eventually reflect on me and my work output. When I am the one who has to cancel, I will work extra hard to make up for it. I feel for you, both on the frustration you feel for yourself, and also the frustration you feel on behalf of us.

I cannot say I know you, let alone know you well; HOwever, I am a pretty good at recognizing positive, rational people over negative nancy's & stupidity. You, Mrs Sticky, are a positive, rational (most of the time) person with an outgoing & inclusive attitude who enjoys life at the fullest. You are a diamond, it takes lots of pressure to make a diamond, & few people are real diamonds.
Many think they are diamonds, many think they are very important (for what??), & many people are simply self centered. You know how to be fun when it's fun time, serious when it's serious time, & on time when it's time to be on time. Less people understand that, it seems, today.
Maybe you have to be firm on things like being on time, point out to them the importance of the "event," &/or find knew people. We set ourselves up sometimes for people thinking what we are doing isn't very important. Point out to them the importance & stress "Priorities;" let them know you are not one to be taken for granted.
Do like the Spartans; they would meet once a year, select the most adverse, nonconforming, unworthy person to the city state and take them out to be killed in front of all the others. Nah, better not do that one, lol.

PS: If you told me to be somewhere and you would be there to meet me, I damn sure would on time, llol.
