This was stupid in the 1st place, Paypal has never been supportive of performers, Pornhub was stupid to offer that to begin with(Pornhub has lot of junk they should be ashamed about to begin with anyway).

I never understood that pay pal constantly closes performers' account yet you can use pay pal to join sites and even buy credits for cam shows i know chatrerbate accepts pay pal ??????

They seem to be very erratic with so many different rules and I think also different rules depending on what country you're in?

When I opened my store VickyVettevideos.com somebody from PayPal actually approached me about using them? They got my information from xcart which was the software that I used to run my store at the time. I said to the representative I thought you didn't do adult? He said you're not allowed doing subscription sales, but you can do hard Goods like DVD, 8x10's and even videos that you could download including custom videos. I said okay great and got set up - it was fine for a couple of months then out of the blue they closed my account.

When I contacted the representative who originally set up my account, he said I thought you told me you weren't planning on doing more than 1,500 per month in sales. I said I wasn't and I was surprised that it went over that amount. Turns out he basically lied to me because they don't investigate the smaller accounts, they only look at what you're actually selling if you go over the threshold of 1500 per month.

They gave me the reason that they thought I might sell memberships through my store. They would not listen to any reason. They are blacklisted my name my email address and my bank account so there is no way that I could even set up another account for personal use. That was the second time I was screwed over by PayPal.

The first time they screwed me over was in 2005, when I had about $600 in my PayPal account it was from selling 8 by 10s and DVDs through Yahoo group, they closed the account and kept the money and said that it was my loss because I did not respect their terms of service and I sold adult items.

at this point I would say at least 60% of the performers I know have lost their PayPal account, and also their Vemno accounts because pay pal owns Vemno and they reference the SS # so even if you have pay pal for Porn and a personal Vemno account that was total non porn-related they will close that
