Went to Urgent Care and not COVID thankfully. Just a bad cold that morphed into bronchitis. Gave her meds and an inhaler. I feel bad because she caught my cold and got it way worse than I had. On top of that she slipped on the ice a couple weeks ago and broke her collar bone and bruised her side up pretty good. So she's not happy everytime she coughs. I'm waiting on her hand and foot until she mends.

No I meant with all the lock downs you weren't interacting with people....

Ah! I gotcha... well because I was able to work throughout the lockdowns as the shop was deemed as "essential" that gave me my fill of human interaction - just not the interactions I was wanting! Haha! Really frustrating that I went to work dealing with a hundred or more strangers each day but it was forbidden for me to visit with friends or family...

Speaking of better times, We just got our 4th covid shot, i.e. our 2nd boosters, in preparation for our trip to Italy on Tuesday!

Let the pain begin! Damn booster, happens every time.... aching all over the place! Dave too! Had to get up at 4 am to go to the kitchen to get Tylenol.... grrr... even my toes hurt. Every bone, muscle and joint in my body... It's leg day today... gonna suck... oh well... SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP...

But maybe it'll help with your long Covid symptoms? I read that some people experienced a decrease in severity of their symptoms or that they even disappeared completely.

Yes Liz every shot I have gotten makes me feel better in the long run! Hot #1 and 2 made a huge difference! That's why I'm the first in line once it's available.

I feel like crap today, I went to a funeral/memorial on Monday night with over 100 people who were all crying and hugging and I'm sure I picked up a bug there, Is the perfect today incubation period. I have such a pounding headache, sore throat, and aching all over..... I did do a covid test though and it's not that.

No I'm still working, I even shot customs today. I have things that I promised to people, and I hate to disappoint. I am a little bit stressed over getting everything finished before I have to leave for Miami on Sunday.

I live with an elderly person. My stepmom. So yes, I got my two Pfizer vaccinations in March and in April 2021. I was scheduled to get the booster and flu shot in December 2021. However I was exposed to someone who was in contact with a person who was hospitalized. I had to postpone the booster shot and go for a Covid test instead. The lady jammed that freaking swab so far up that I thought she was going to hit my brain. Not a pleasant experience those Covid tests. The results were negative. I've never rescheduled my Covid booster shot.

I need to get my 2nd booster. I've got a few things going on right now, but as soon as I can work it in, I'll get that 2nd one.
