I'm thinking of upgrading my webcam to the new 4K ultra HD logitech Brio. Check out this review! Fascinating! It's amazing that you can get a 920 for $54 or 922 for $84 (that's the one i have) I've been shooting my custom videos on my webcam lately....

I can't speak for others, but personally I'm going on 8 or so years with this monitor and haven't felt the need to upgrade my 1080 display.
I'm also still rocking the DSLR which will put out 1080p @30 fps (maybe 60 fps?) in a tethered webcam mode. Obviously a lower resolution but I'm certain that my lens is superior to whatever optics they throw in a webcam.

4K is important, (at least from a marketing perspective), but HDR (high dynamic range) will provide more visually popping images that people will notice over higher resolution.stickyvicky wrote: ↑February 12th, 2020, 10:03 am I'm thinking of upgrading my webcam to the new 4K ultra HD logitech Brio. I'm pretty sure the cameras you're considering support HDR, but confirm before investing.
